Actually, all things Sam aside, bipolar disorder is genetically transferred through the mother. I am not anti-Spears family. I think they are doing the best they can, but it IS possible that Mama Spears IS mentally ill also and may or may not know it. My mother did not get diagnosed until after I did.

67. brit's parents are just trying to pass the blame to sam, britney has been out of control for years, way before sam ever came around. lynn is trying to maximize whatever future earning potential her daughter might have by putting the blame on someone besides britney.

Uh, tuna, sorry to inform you, but that wasn't a depo. Lynne signed an affidavit in support of the application for the restraining order. Not the same thing, not even close. Sam will have an opportunity to cross-examine Lynne at the hearing on the restraining order and to put on evidence in an attempt to show that she was lying or "exagratting". It becomes an issue of credibility -- who to believe, Lynne or Sam?

72. tuna: Understandable. The important thing to carry away from this is that there will be an opportunity to challenge anything Lynne has contended. Evidence to the contrary can be offered. Maybe Lynne's version will prevail, maybe not. That's why Sam gets a hearing. The restraining order is temporary until he gets his chance to persuade the court there was no cause for it.

I think the hearing for the restraining order is tomorrow.
If he doesn’t show up to give his side then it can automatically be extended up to 3 years.

It was served past the cutoff time and date because he deliberately avoided service.

I don’t believe he will show up for the hearing, so we should all just assume that the accusations Lynne made against him are true.
