Diablo Cody: Don't Pimp Me ... or my Feet!

Her name's not Diablo for nothin'! Diablo Cody -- the "Juno" screenwriter and former stripper is flaming hot at Stuart Weitzman for getting her in the middle of a publicity stunt she claims she wasn't aware of.

Every year, Weitzman makes a pair of "Cinderella" shoes to be worn at the Oscars by a rising female star. This year he chose Cody, and she agreed to sport the special shoes. Then she found out they were made with 1,800 Kwiat diamonds -- and worth a million-dollars!

Cody wrote on her myspace blog: "I'm actually really pissed about this, now that I think about it. They're using me to publicize their stupid shoes and nobody asked me. I would never consent to a lame publicity stunt at a time when I already want to hide. I'm sorry if I sound like a party-pooper, but Jeebus."

Maybe she wants to wear clear, six-inch Lucite heels instead!

19. i have a few really interesting ideas that are really odd and crazy, not just typical boring ideas....really interesting unique perspectives and more than one idea...a few really good ideas...i am going to figure out how to turn them into scriptplays or just write about it, but i guarentee you its way more interesting then a 'juno' movie, i havent seen the movie but im pretty sure it is....

22. If she paid for the shoes, then the shoemaker is in the wrong. If she's been given these shoes for to wear for free, then what did she expect? Buy your own shoes to wear and you won't be exploited- although she's allowed herself to be exploited plenty of times, so she needs to learn that you can't always control it!

25. Juno sucked, formulaic filled w/ annoying pop culture references piece of crap. Should have never been nominated in the first place. Brook Hunt (I refuse to use her other name till people start calling me Lance Wonderful ) is an idiot. The only movies worth seeing this year were all adapted from NOVELS.

26. Well, la-dee-dah! If you don't want to wear the shoes, then DON'T wear the shoes! Maybe you have a contract, but as it is, you're acting so ungrateful that Weitzman would probably jump at the chance to give those shoes to someone else (someone a little more deserving of them)! Honestly, what a thing to complain about--all pissed off because someone actually thought you were good enough to model their extremely expensive shoes! Boo hoo, cry me a river! Wait until you find out what REAL problems are!

It's an opportunity of a lifetime, and all you can do is WHINE about it! Most people would have been HONORED! Even if you're now thinking that wearing the shoes is not such a good idea, there are still more polite and more professional ways of going about telling Weitzman that you've changed your mind than ranting and raving to everyone who will listen. If you'd gone to him PRIVATELY about your concerns instead of insulting him and complaining like an ungrateful little brat, I'm sure he would have been all too happy to accommodate you!

27. Say what you want, but a job is a job and stripping is/was a good way for a woman to make really good money. Did she write an excellent screenplay? YES. Did YOU write ANY kind of screenplay? NO. I think she's cute, but then I'm a fat, homely, gray-haired, 50 year old geezer. Don't get all self righteous because of what she used to do because I'm really SURE you have some embarrassing/disgusting skeletons in your closet. I for ONE would be exstatic to be able to call her a friend and I admire her for expressing herself about being exploited unknowingly. We should all judge ourselves befire we judge others. I say she's HOT!

30. I can't believe All of you lame brains! Tmz doesn't know that the diamonds are what you call "Blood Diamonds" Yes, people worked hard to dig into those Diamond Mines, and some died.I won't wear Blood Diamonds either.She's not an ingrate,she's smart and has a right not to wear those shoes.
