Stop the presses! Ashlee Simpson left her karaoke machine at home last night for a performance at LAX Nightclub at the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas -- finally unleashing her stellar vocals on a live audience. Take that, Paula!


Her creepy father, Joe, and bassist boyfriend Pete Wentz were there to support her -- as she traveled through the undiscovered realm of not faking it.

At least she tried.

19. Oh, TMZ, give her a break. Afer the lip-sync fiasco on SNL she returned to SNL and sang LIVE, accompanied by a living piano player playing a real piano (no, not a player piano). YES, Ashlee unplugged. She can and does sing. NOW, get back to what's really important, BRITNEY!

24. I just gota say, that I was REALLY embarased watching this. She has no more singing talent then the average peson on th s street - really bad. Just goes to show ya that a lot of getting famous is in your connections and who you know, also takes some coin. In closing...she's really bad...who was singing on her previous albums?
