The 83-year-old widow of Humphrey Bogart and Jason Robards resurfaced at a Broadway opening on Thursday, looking ravishing.
Although Lauren has never won an Oscar, she was nominated for her work in the 1996 film, "The Mirror Has Two Faces." Lauren was expected to win, but in an upset, the award went to Juliette Binoche for "The English Patient."
Lauren is a spokesperson for the Tuesday Morning discount chain.

Guess who would be today's 'polar' opposite of her class wise ( and everything else too)?
A true lady, classy and respectable, which will most likely not exsist anymore... I take a bow to an unforgettable royalty to the entertainment world.....
I think at a certain age, some women just give up on their looks. They've earned the right....all except Ruby Dee who looks every bit of 60.
This is what true Hollywood looks like. It AGES gracefully and keeps its class. What a natural beauty still and what a shame she never won an Oscar. She was one of the best in Hollywood. You go girl!
You should live to be 83 and hopefully someone will not discredit YOU with a bad photo. A classy lady with an AMAZING career---too bad TMZ's entire staff wont be so lucky...You should be ashamed of yourselves. Bad Karma=Bad Karma.
A true class act , shouldn't she be awarded a Honarary Oscar for her lifetime of work?
Lauren Bacall recently submitted to a national tv interview, in which her naural beauty radiated from her complexion, grace, composure, high wit, and tremendous air of sophistication without presumption. I had not viewed such class in so long I was spellbound by this 83 yr old prima example of it.
Oh, and the horrid flash shot smack in the face that exaggerates every negative actually reveals the lady's down to earth and happy personality beautifullly. Today's wannabes would duck, punch and destroy the photographer, not give them a big welcoming smile and wave. She will always be loved by her public, and I congratulate her on her fine family, as well.
