The 83-year-old widow of Humphrey Bogart and Jason Robards resurfaced at a Broadway opening on Thursday, looking ravishing.
Although Lauren has never won an Oscar, she was nominated for her work in the 1996 film, "The Mirror Has Two Faces." Lauren was expected to win, but in an upset, the award went to Juliette Binoche for "The English Patient."
Lauren is a spokesperson for the Tuesday Morning discount chain.

What a wonderful lady! She looks terrific and happy! Oh, and on her chest it looks like age spots. Very very common especially in older people who spent a lot of time in the sun. I wish we all could age so gracefully in looks and demeanor.

Beautiful woman - inside and out. No Hollywood actress of this day and age can touch her (well maybe Meryl Streep and Diane Keaton). But other than that, nada! No wonder I still watch classic films; I love looking at the high class and elegant fashions. When are gloves, hats and bags coming back?

These classic ladies (and they were ladies) were part of my childhood--in their prime then.
It was an exciting time for movies back in the "old days."
Of course there were controversies then, too, but most of them kept their families out of it if they could (I mean the kids).
One by one these folks are passing on, both from movies and music.

She lived in a more respectable, gentle time, when the media didn't behave like packs of wolves out for their last meal. If she had been in her prime today, she would have had to contend with the hordes of barbaric photographers swarming her car and her person.

What a setup- you guys publish the most extreme before and after pictures possible- throw in phony complimentary adjectives like "ravishing," knowing full well that the difference between youth and age is shocking, sometimes heartbreaking- then sit back, probably laughing your butts off as people have a debate between the blind and the cruel.
