17. This sounds more like a publicity stunt than anything. She got more publicity by saying she didn't want publicity than she would have gotten if she hadn't said anything. Oh, the irony!

What idiot thinks that someone is going to hand over a pair of shoes worth $2 mil and expect nothing out of it?

She used to be a stripper- she should know better than anyone that nothing is free in life. Nobody gives strangers- even celebrities- perks without expecting something in return.

19. True her outfit was HIDEOUS, but look at the COHEN BROS!!! They are even worse looking that DIABLO!!! Is it only OLD, JEWISH MEN who can look HIDEOUS as well and NOT BE CRITICIZED???? At least she's SMART and doesn't have to depend on her LOOKS!!!

24. She'd have looked much better in the million dollar shoes. She could use a little height, and the shoes do go with. What's with the Tarzan/Jane getup? She'll wear that, but not the gorgeous shoes? Lol. She's a cutie, regardless, and a bit of an Oscar Cinderella story.

25. How utterly rediculous is it to complain about your fame when you're the one working to get it. She should've put the shoes on and shut the hell up. A former stripper elevated to wearing million dollar shoes....her poor poor life.

26. Diablo Cody is a disrespectful brat. Weitzman did her a favor by choosing her to be his rising star this year and giving her a chance to wear the cinderella shoes and she spat in his face. He's a world famous designer..why would he want to capitalize on her undeserved 15 minutes of fame? He was even kind enough to design a pair of flats for her to change into after the red carpet so she could be comfortable and she thanked him by ragging on him on her myspace like a spoiled 14-year-old.

It would have been a bit better if she had done the research about what she would be wearing and politely declined his offer in private if she didn't want to wear them, but she didn't care enough to look into the significance of the shoes and then blamed everyone around her for not informing her and went on to denounced the man trying to do her a favor. Anyone saying "go Diablo" here is just as immature and disrespectful as she.

29. Um, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Diablo Cody the very essence of the word WHORE? Check out the disgusting skanky stripper bar she worked at in Minneapolis...it's called Deja Vu and it's known as the trashiest strip club in town. Then when she gets a little bit of fame, she kicks her hubby to the curb and goes all Hollywood. Watch her crash after her walk over everybody else to get where she is.
