Renfro Not Feel Good Enough for Oscar?

So why did the Academy snub Brad Renfro by not including him in the memoriam? The Academy is pretty much tight as a drum.

A flack tells us a small group of people make extremely difficult choices but refused to say what criteria are used to make those decisions. She added we shouldn't waste our time cause no one would discuss it further.

Could it have something to do with the circumstances surrounding Renfro's death? It's uncomfortable to applaud when an actor dies from an overdose. Of course, exceptions must be made for huge stars who OD. Heath Ledger made the cut.

The red carpet wasn't the only thing that was sanitized last night.

137. Brad Renfro was talented. I think it is a slap in his dead face that he wasnt mentioned in the Oscar tribute. Basically, this is saying, "We dont care. Your not important enough." Thanks alot. Since the Ocars FORGOT about him, maybe I'll FORGET about the Oscars from now on.

138. Since they mentioned Heath Ledger, who also OD on drugs, Brad should of been mentioned. At one time Brad was a big star, in the teen element anyway. After he made the Client everyone was talking about how great he was ect. but since he started using drugs like many other fallen hollywood stars, he was cut out. It is funny to me how they can make exceptions for some, but not others and it is also really sad that Brad's death was overshadowed by Heath's. Just to name a few stars that have OD but still get mad recognition: River Phoenix, Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, Kurt Cobain, and now Heath Ledger. Go figure!

140. What do you expect from the Oscar's-don't they give awards to the old folks who r about to exhale? They should renamed the Oscar's to "Just because".
