Spears' Lawyers Say Brit Ain't No Cash Register

TMZ has obtained documents filed today in Federal court in the Britney Spears conservatorship case and her lawyers have made it clear -- Brit's not the Bank of America.

Jamie Spears' lawyers claim attorney Jon Eardley, who filed the motion to remove the case to Federal court, has triggered a flurry of legal moves that have already cost Brit more than $40 grand.

For his part, attorney Jon Eardley claims he was retained by Britney on February 12 and has spoken with her on several occasions. He says the last time she attempted to call him, "the telephone was taken away from her, and the number was disconnected the next day."

Eardley says Brit has "never been and is not now on comfortable terms with her live-in father conservator" and claims that he is "concerned for the emotional and physical safety of Britney."

31. Is it mandatory in order to be a
pap that you have no idea how
to operate a camera or take
a good picture? A squid could
of taken a better picture.

34. 1. The federal lawsuit is bogus and Eardley needs to pay the bills.
2. Our dearly beloved TMZ must have grown a heart and soul today because they are the only ones that I can find NOT reporting on Ms. Britney's visit with her kids today. Is it too much to ask...

36. Maybe she'll finally learn that she's got to pay for her actions. Too bad her boys will end up pay the greatest price in the madness in the long run.

39. i love britney and her music (despite the fact that all the credit goes to her producers), but there is no doubt in my mind that she is just laying low and faking the whole "becoming normal" thing. she has looked down-right miserable lately and the fact that she is still trying to flash her coochie tells me that she hasn't changed a lick. she's going to go right back to her old ways as soon as possible- my only question is why? you would think that the media frenzy around her would make her try to at least appear more normal, but it doesn't. i know society forces me to brush my hair, wear underwear, and wear shoes into a public bathroom. and if i couldn't be more normal then i'd become a recluse. with her resources, why does she get her own starbucks and gas? i guess i just can't relate to her in that respect.

so what's to blame? attention addiction? insanity? the media? the parents? some days i feel so sorry for her that i hope that it's all just a joke she's playing on the world. no matter what the cause, she still refuses to accept that she should get help, and that's her fault. i have a feeling that she thinks that she's special, that everything and everyone is coming down on her through no fault of her own, but because the world is such a mean place, and that she is being picked on. but see, the world is generally a mean place, to everyone. every day a million people are being talked about behind their backs all across america, it's just human nature. at least britney has the fortune of being able to know what people are saying about her. she should use that to her advantage.

40. Money is the least costly result of what she's done. Hopefully she provides a trust for the boys and then losses the rest. That's what happens when you don't appreciate what you've got.... you loss it!!.

43.
HMMMMMMMMM.... If Eardley says she is forbidden from using the phone then how did she retain him on the 12th?
AND by stalling he's just keeping in that so-called prison longer - I guess he won't getthe irony!

As far as I remember the day after she got out they went to court to reinforce the conservatorship - the 6th, or something?
Sooooo how did she retain him a week after? Smoke signals no doubt. Rather than advising the court to look at Lynne's facts he should check his own and make sense of them.

And who is he interviewing "abroad" as witnesses for this case? I'm also guessing the person that informed him of abusive voicemails was none other than Sam......

Did the Fed court give him an extention or not? (Throw it out and make him pay costs!!!!!!)

44. This entire removal to federal court is going nowhere. It's just a question of whether Jamie Spears gets his attorney fees paid or not. My guess is he probably will get at least some relief.

45. Here's a lawyer that doesn't seem to get the message. She is NOT capable of making decisions, she has some mental problems. There are thousands of mentally disturbed people who don't like being told what to do, or want to take there pills. Do you know what happends when they get thier way, They go to colleges and start going crazy, get the message. She in the right hands now and look how better she's doing.
