Spears' Lawyers Say Brit Ain't No Cash Register

TMZ has obtained documents filed today in Federal court in the Britney Spears conservatorship case and her lawyers have made it clear -- Brit's not the Bank of America.

Jamie Spears' lawyers claim attorney Jon Eardley, who filed the motion to remove the case to Federal court, has triggered a flurry of legal moves that have already cost Brit more than $40 grand.

For his part, attorney Jon Eardley claims he was retained by Britney on February 12 and has spoken with her on several occasions. He says the last time she attempted to call him, "the telephone was taken away from her, and the number was disconnected the next day."

Eardley says Brit has "never been and is not now on comfortable terms with her live-in father conservator" and claims that he is "concerned for the emotional and physical safety of Britney."

77. #77 - Of course Britney is footing the bill. She’s an adult. Why should her father personally go into debt for something that he will NEVER be able to pay? Have you gone to a blood sucking lawyer lately? I have….twice. One got a judgement for $1,600 in back child support and then billed me $1,400 to do it. The other one charged me $600 for his secretary to file a form letter in an estate case. 15 minutes of his time in his office….$600. He wasn’t even in the office when I went back to sign the paper.

It’s the lawyers who make out like bandits. They’re like sharks, and they know they have you over a barrel. Try going to court without one. I bet daddy Spears’ hair is ready to turn white with all he’s had to deal with lately.

I'm sure Britney is not real happy with her fathers interference but it is for the best and her children should be her concern now,
I've no doubt many have taken Britney for a ride financially over the last few years, she was easy prey.

I'm also as certain it is her dad Jamie receiving far more abusive attitude and danger living with Britney then the other way around. The judge should tell these $cavengers to back off.

81. Everyone needs to realize that Eardley is only filing this federal case because he thinks that he will get a big payday from this.

There is much more in all of this. The Sam Lutfi – Harold Grossman connection needs to be explored in this.

How in the world did Sam Lutfi support his lifestyle? Where in the hell did he get his money to afford a new car? How did he know to contact Jon Eardley to try to get back into Britney’s life?

88. what i dont get is how Eardley can say Britney is being held against her will when she has been out with her Dad, done those supposed dance classes,etc. I really dont see how he can see her as being enslaved. That seems to be part of the law he is going on.His filing a legal paper doesnt get him a lousy 40000 in any stretch of the imagination!

89. Eardley sounds INSANE and sicker than Britney if he thinks he can file a stupid claim and expect to get $40,000. He must have received his Law Degree from a mail order catalog. Don't all of these lowlife deadbeat men trying to steal Britney's money know how evil and nasty they are?
Most people with two brain cells rubbing together are happy that you are taking care of your daughter, Papa Spears. Hopefully it's not too late. . . . and it won't be if the slug thugs after her money will crawl back into the ground.
