Tilda Swinton: Take My Oscar, Please!

Crazy video, can't believe she let those people hold her Oscar. She seems nice.

Just as an FYI, Radioman is actually very well known in entertainment circles. Aside from being seen at many press junkets, he was even given a small cameo as himself in EDWARD NORTON'S "KEEPING THE FAITH"... As for the others in the video? No clue!

well while all you are worried about how ugly she is, which she isnt. How cool of her to let fans hold an Oscar and take photo's with her. She is obviously a very cool lady.

Little makeup and a different dress would have done her some good.

I've been a fan of Tilda's since her work with director Derek Jarman. Seeing this video confirms my impression that she's a lovely, down to earth, extremely talented and seemingly nice actress.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...always has been, always will be...majority opinion be damned. Tilda looks like many high fashion models do without makeup. She's got great skin, fit bod, healthy looking styled hair and a Katherine Hepburn kind of high cheekbone/androgynous thing going on. Why should she wear makeup for the Oscars? True, she could probably get some non-toxic stuff but it's her choice. I think she looks lovely. I also like the dress on her (I'd probably like anything she chose as she's quite the stylish lass).

Do we really need style Nazis for the Oscars? If someone ever decided to show up in jeans & a t-shirt...SO WHAT! They still deserve to be there and, if the voters choose, deserve their award. Differnt strokes for different folks.

We put waaayyyy too much stock on appearances and spend waayyyyy too much money on cosmetic surgery, makeup and clothes. One can be attractive, stylish and healthy without spending so much. Buy stocks, gold, diamonds and real estate instead and save for the future, medical expenses, a rainy day or an occasional splurge.

While it's amusing to have some cattiness or discussion about clothes and appearance, it's mostly sad to see (what appears to be) numerous girls/women berating other girls/women for being unattractive in their eyes. Like women don't get enough crap from guys (and sometimes parents) about appearance, they have to get trashed from other gals too. Ya can't get a break. I know free speech and all, but it makes think if you can't say something nice about someone, don't say anything at all. What's really ugly is the nasty, mean and sometimes obscene negative comments from whoever not just here but on the internet in general. As John Lennon said...one thing you can't hide, is when you're crippled inside. And some clearly want to flaunt it.

If you don't sleep with the person you think is unattractive, why should you care? Some people say all cats look black in the dark so even that might not matter. If you're offended to see this person in their ugliness...be offended by images of starving babies in 3rd world countries or injured soldiers coming home from Iraq, donate money to good organizations helping world hunger & veterans instead of another makeup splurge, and get over it. This should be the least of one's problems.

As far as the person that say Tilda's trying too hard to be unique and cool...no dear, she IS unique & cool. And as far as the "fan" who says she's ugly but a good actress. Gee, what a sport you are! Mighty white of ya! I guess it's good to have people on your side no matter what. With friend's like that...

I think she's absoloutely beautiful, and it show how not all celebrities are stuck up and that there are still genuinely good people in Hollywood et in the movie Industry.
