31. I am glad that Dog is coming back on t.v. I happen to enjoy their show. I like all of his family and Dog tries to help people that have screwed up their lives. Sometime it takes someone who has lived through things to help others in the same predicament. I hate reading all the negative comments by people who don't understand the real world. God bless you Dog and Beth, can't wait till you are back on the air.

32. I wish they would have kept the show off permanently. I’ll admit I’ve watched the show a time or two in the past. Generally the most entertainment value comes from them making asses of themselves. I’ve read too many negative things about him and his family to believe they have any redeeming value.

35. You act as if you are Gods Gift to the human race. No they are not Brad and Angelina. How many of us are? I do not care for the outside but what is on the inside that makes a person. No is is not a drop dead hunk he is a man that has had a hard life and it shows. Beth is no Angelina but like Angelina she is a real mother who tries to do her best for her family. That I can relate to. Beth and Dog keep doing what you are doing and take care of your family. We love you and are waiting for the new shows. Hi Duane jr and Leland.

36. I like them. They've done a lot of good in their business. Unfortunately, some of the kids are what you could call "troubled." Danged if I'm going to throw stones at them - lord only knows what my own kids could pull someday.

38. Some of the comments make me laugh out loud.

"I think Leland and Duane have turned out well." HTF would you know!?!? It's a sad day here in Hawaii when they let that guy and his brood back on the street to bust the VERY VERY dangerous ice heads that barely know their own name anymore.

All he has done for Hawaii is make the politicians, and average citizens who seem to like him, look like stupid fools, and give the world the impression that all Hawaii is is one big drug party and slum.

It is not. It is hard working, honest folk of all stripes that make these islands their home. If there ever ever was a "Stupid Haole" this guy is the personification. The whole bunch needs to be back in Colorado in the trailer park from whence they came.

His quest for redemption was not driven by any inner enlightenment over his comments, it was driven by his need to keep that big ole Portlock house, and Tahoes, and furniture and uppity attitude they have developed. Living as a jerk in Hawaii is expensive. He's willing to sell his soul for that, and that he has done.

40. Where did all these savage, hateful sools come from? Att the dark comments are from very sad people filled with pain, suffering and anger, who can't wait to find some public person to take their rage out on. Pathetic! The DTBH show is entertaining and enlightening. It is particular important as it shows everyone how someone can lift themselves from the depths of hell (i.e. youthful mistakes, familial tragedies and a lac k of enlightenment) to find a joyful place in this world, despite fhe very few pathetic failures so write trash about them -- maybe to try to lift themselves up over bodies of others? If these poor folks spent the energy they use to hate, instead to heal this world would be a much better placed.

41. Can't wait for the return of the show. This family has helped many get back on track. Beth is a beautiful, strong, and loving person. Dog is very compassionate and wants to help others change their lives for the better. Currently Tucker needs their tough love and support to get through the hard times and learn from his previous mistakes. If you are truly Christian you would wish others well and prayers for those who need to rehabilitate their lives.

42. Pau, I never would judge Hawaii as one big drug party. That would be prejudging someone or something based on a one sided view. What I think I know about Hawaii it is of many cultures, very expensive and friendly. Not as friendly as Texas. There are many walks of life in Hawaii as in the rest of our country and I do not think that we view Hawaii as a drug party. I like dtbh and am glad that it is returning.
