46. No sympathy here....Since he did in fact solicit a minor for sex and exchanged e-mails and photos, the result was him being caught. There is no skirting around it, he corresponded and appeared at what he thought was the home of an underage male.
If he committed suicide as a result of being "exposed", then all I can say is, "thanks for the favor" and I hope the case is dismissed and no damages are awarded to the family of a pedophile.

DID THE LAWYER EVER HEAR OF A CITIZENS ARREST? As far as i know the people who work for Dateline are US citizens. NOT BEING ABLE TO HANDLE THE PUBLIC HUMILIATION? 51. If he wasn't guilty, then why did he commit suicide? The guy was a DA, he should have fought for his innocence if he was not guilty. Or, get himself help.
I don't care if there is a stigma that comes with it. The guy was soliciting a 14 year old boy.
I only wish he was alive to go to prison to be someones bitch.

53. I wonder if his sister ever thought that perhaps he killed himself because he was sick in the head and didn't know how else to cope. I feel sorry for the family left behind however I am elated that this thirteen year old boy was only pretend but on the other hand how many others were there? How many other young boys did he ruin with his demented ways?
I guess all we can do is be thankful he won't ruin anyone elses life.

55. This REALLY makes me angry!!! The judge in the case is probably sympathetic to this PEDOPHILE becasue his computer is probably full of KIDDIE PORN!!! If he hadn't been online soliciting MINORS he wouldn't have had to kill himself !!!

This is just as ridiculous as the family who tried to sue the LA police because their brother died after trying to rob a bank, They didn't think the authorities made it a priority to get help for him in time enough to save him. If this idiot hadn't robbed a bank and used high-powered weapons against the police he wouldn't have died in the street!!!

He would have had the same amount of humiliation … his career would still be over … and he most likely would kill himself.

58. I think I am lost. He was not arrested on camera correct? He was avoiding that and that is why he shot himself? He found out about the sting before going to the house and did not go. Working in the DA's office did help give him the heads up.

I recently saw on tv how doctors & judges go to foreign countries to have sexual contact with children from ages 4 and up and yes these doctors and judges are from the U.S.A We need to hear more about these losers and not waste time following paris hilton and britney spears, they do nothing for the society they are both useless…
