Leo to NYPD -- Catch Me If You Can!
Leonardo DiCaprio departed yesterday in NYC, but only after cops searched the car he was riding in.
It's plain as day -- NYPD can clearly been seen rummaging through the white Mercedes as Leo sat shotgun on Fifth Ave.
Only the driver -- not Leo or his back seat passenger -- was ordered out of the car after he was pulled over for running a red light. The plain-clothed cops (with NYPD windbreakers -- not exactly on the DL) let Leo and his pal leave after about 20 minutes.
We're waiting to hear back from Leo's reps.
