Judge to Ja Rule -- No Bailin' Out Your Peeps!

Ja Rule was in court today in Manhattan for a hearing concealed weapons charges, and -- get this --the judge slammed Ja for paying his co-defendants' bail!

The rapper (real name: Jeffrey Atkins) was in Manhattan Supreme Court, and Judge Micki Scherer told Ja that he "put himself in the position of perhaps controlling the outcome of the case" by posting as much as $150,000 for Dennis Cherry and Mohamed Gamal. And the judge ordered the other guys to pay their own bail -- or pay Ja back!

Ja's lawyer indicated that Cherry and Gamal will come up with their own packages. The trio will be back in court March 20. Ja was popped for having a concealed handgun in his car last July.

yeh, that judge is just a vengeful idiot. ja rule earned that money and he should be allowed to do whatever he wants withthe money (as long as it is legal); bailing friends out is not breaking the law. some judges ( like this moron) think they have the power to creat laws when in all actuality their responsibility is to interpret it.

Im so sick and tired of these "fake ass" tough guy, self proclaimed gangster rappers...All they are is rappers with money, when you have money, you have alot of friends, they hang out 20 deep and when theres a fight or problem, naturally your overmatched..I'd like to see them all alone in one of the hoods where no one likes them or could care less about them..You'd see how fast the tail gets tucked in between thier legs..It's getting so out of hand and stale..Shouldn't it be about the music, not how many guys you shot or how many asses you've supposedly kicked...

it would only be collusion if they had a secret deal going or "An agreement between two or more people to defraud a person of his or her rights or to obtain something that is prohibited by law." at least, that's what legal-dictionary says. However, I'm not a lawyer and i don't really plan on arguing all day about something like this, anyway.

Yet another judge bends the law to remove an individuals rights.
It's no wonder US is more like Big Brother every day. The notion of privacy, freedom is vanishing.
And it's no wonder people break the law. Judges routinely operate outside the bounds
of the law. Why is it not ok then for the "common" man to do the same?

Ja Rule was born on Leap Year in 1976...shouldn't he be turning like 8 years old or something on Friday?
Should he technically be tried as an adult????

Touche.
