MLB Player Wanted for Puking

Scott SpiezioTwo-time World Series champion Scott Spiezio has been charged with DUI, hit and run with property damage, aggravated assault, battery and assault -- and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Spiezio is accused of leaving a bar on December 30, 2007 in Newport Beach, Calif. after a night of heavy drinking. He allegedly drove drunk, crossed several lanes of traffic, drove over a curb and crashed into a fence. Then, we're told, he fled on foot.

But wait, there's more! Spiezio then allegedly went to a friend's house, puked on his floor, and then fought the guy after he dared to complain about the vomit. The nerve!

48. Spezio is a LOSER. He came to the Mariners after winning the world series in Anaheim and performed like a complete CHUMP. Maybe he had to stop taking the roids at this point. After he was run out of town, he then had the gall to slam Mariners fans who complained about his poor performance. What a DOUCHEBAG!

49. Glad to see how these dedicated athletes keep their feet on the ground after they make the big leagues. Pfffft. Nouveau riche entitlement syndrome.

51. The picture is not Scott Spezio. Spezio has black hair and only a "soul patch" not a mustache and goatee.

52. I gotta agree. That doesn't look like the picture of Spiezio on MLB.com. His soul patch is red in the picture but didn't he color it when the Cards were in the post-season last year. He had dark curls in the MLB picture, too and his cheeks looked rounder.

Go Sox

53. It's obvious that many of you don't know the difference between a drunken night on the town and someone with a serious problem, Scott's been in rehab and admittedly has a problem. Why doesn't he just stop drinking? He's an alcoholic people. That's like asking you not to scratch an itch. It doesn't make sense to you because you don't understand the disease. Scott arguably hit the greatest home run in Angels history in Game 6 of the 2002 World Series and I will forever be a fan and offer my support. Get well Scott. Pay your restitutions and get well.
