"A.I." finalist Amanda Overmyer pleaded guilty to DUI back in October 2006 near her hometown of Mulberry, IN.
She received a suspended sentence of 60 days and was placed on 180 days probation, which ended in August 2007.
According to the National Enquirer, on the night of her arrest Overmyer had a blood alcohol level of 0.108 and spent six hours in the Montgomery County Jail before her fiancé posted her bail.

47. just another exmaple of why AI is seeing the start of its decline---the lowest ratings this year they have ever had and declining more each week. They are letting losers like this slip by, not doing background checks...America doesnt want convicted felons or convicted misdemeanor types on the show, especially if they are from the State people live in---people from IN are not going to be proud this goof is now representing their state. I wont even comment on that left over look from the late 80's she wears, enough on here already have.
AI will go the way Who wants to be a Millionaire show did...was a must see for a few years than fizzled to reruns and a day time show. Its this kind of stuff that makes its credibility suffer.

Everyone makes mistakes a few times during their life and will continue to make a few in the future.
I really dont like this contestants musical sound but she paid her dues and just let the DUI thing go.
It makes no difference to me.
