New O.J. Book Borders on Sick

OJ and RiccioOJ Simpson's legal troubles have turned into a cash register for a member of his former posse.

We've learned Thomas Riccio, the sports memorabilia dealer who may have double-dealt and orchestrated the confrontation that led to robbery charges, has made a book deal. The book, titled "Busted," is Riccio's sleaze-a-zoid account of what went down in the Vegas hotel room and all the stuff before and after.

Riccio's making a nice living off O.J.'s latest heist. We know he was paid $70,000 during his "media tour" following the arrest, in return for mentioning a website called clips4sale.com during his shameless appearances.

And, of course, Riccio peddled the audiotape of the hotel confrontation to ... oh yeah, us.

His book is due out in April. We're thinkin' he'll probably ask for donations before page 40.

16. Wow. I'm NO O.J. fan, but this stinks, so much so, that it could have been a set up, for cash. I hope that is considered when looking over O.J.'s case. On the other hand, O.J. seems so weaselly that this could have been HIS set up after the fact, to ultimately get him off cuz it 'looked' like he was set up. Oh, the tangled webs we weave. O.J. should probably have been in prison for life already anyway, truth be told.

17. So, just me @ 6:30 PM, OJ goes to a hotel room, with weapons, and commits robbery rather than getting the police involved to get his alleged stuff back, and you are blaming Fred Goldman?!? You are not rational. OJ didn't have to bite. He could have retrieved his things through proper channels, and by that, I mean INSIDE the confines of the law, not OUTSIDE of it as he seems prone to do since as he seems to think he gets away with it. Goldman has suffered more than enough. I've really had it with people painting perpetrators as victims, and victims as perpetrators. Don't get your thinking twisted.

22. Poor Poor O.J. Who cares! Why do you continue to write stories implying that anyone who does him wrong is sleazy. He murdered 2 people in cold blood. Does anyone remember that? However he winds up in jail is fine with me. If Riccio's tapes get him there,mullet or not, the guy is a hero. If he makes money, good for him.
