Just when you thought it was safe to go in the water -- out comes ~~Greasy Bear~~ "Numb3rs" hottie David Krumholtz.

Still sporting a strike beard -- on his chest -- David frolicked in the Hawaiian surf on Wednesday.

We can't all be like John Stamos.
