I doubt she'd be allowed to get down on all fours totally nude because the gawking pervs would outnumber anyone who cared about her "message". In fact, she probably gave more pubescent boys a wet dream than caused anyone to change their view on pork. PETA are the Howard Stern shock-jocks of animal activism. Like how they cried and made snide remarks about Ratatoulli because Sharon Stone was wearing a "rat's paw". PETA couldn't tell the difference between a grouse claw and a rat's paw, which look NOTHING alike. That's just another example of how these people care more about causing a fuss than any animals.

78. What is really sick is how human animals treat the other animals. This brave mom-to-be is demonstrating the really ugly and cruel conditions pigs are forced to endure because of the sick love of flesh. What is even more bizarre and juvenile is the nasty disrespectful remarks made about this young woman. What is extreme is the violence and cruelty pigs, sheep, lambs, goats, cows, calves, ducks, rabbits and chickens endure both on factory farms and in slaughterhouses. What you are ridiculing are yourselves because that is what you do to innocent herbivores every second of the day because of your sick addiction to flesh. Go vegan and be compassionate!!!

79. Rachel, I'm relieved there are people like you who work in research and care for the defenseless animal. You are only one of few caring persons amongst cruel researchers. But, I wasn't directing my post at animal research in the sense of labratories. I work in the legal field and what I meant by research is education on animal rights. I have more than a clue, I have compassion.

It's amazing that you are horrified by the image of a half-naked woman, that this is going to far, but confining pigs in metal cages on concrete floors their entire lives is ok. Pigs have equal intelligence as dogs and can suffer the same. Would you allow your dog to suffer in those conditions? To the moron who said the mother pig would roll over onto her piglets..ya....if she's stuck in that little cage! In natural surroundings they do just fine. To the idiot who says PETA leaders get paid alot...Ingrid Newkirk, the president, is paid $36,000 a year. You are the ones who need to do some research...and while you're at it develop some morals.

Peta should focus on the following issues if they want people to become vegetarians 1. stop attacking and alienating average civilians that are just trying to survive and feed their families as best they can. 2. Try to bring down HIGH prices of veggies and fruits. 3. Try to influence lower prices at animal friendly organic markets like whole foods and trader joes.

Veggies and fruits are TOO expensive!! People struggle to keep their homes nowadays and do the best they can to take care of their families. Organic markets need to chill on the prices and snobby attitude.

Peta needs to face reality and focus on those who control prices and quality of produce and stop alienating the common folk.

90. Ya...PETA are extreme. Whatever. This is a group of people who want to stop suffering and violence to animals that can't defend themselves. How is that extreme compared to animals being raised in cages, have their necks slit open, have chemicals rubbed in theirs, anally electrocuted for fur, mass bred, force fed, have electrodes implanted in their brains, burned while concious to test medicine.....who are the real extremists. Certainly not the peaceful people looking to stop cruelty.
