"Idol" Kids -- Feudin' Like Cats and Dogs

We have spies -- of course we do -- inside "American Idol," and things between the contestants have gotten ugly from the get go.
Syesha, David
At least one of the female contestants has taken cheap, Imus shots at Syesha Mercado, calling her hair "nappy," among other insults -- behind her back. Nice.

And the guys were ganging up against 17-year-old David Archuleta, making snarky remarks, again, behind his back. But who can blame them? Our sources say record execs at 19 Entertainment have already been in touch with top record publishers in Hollywood, and the word has already been sent out to songwriters to write this kid some tunes.

21. David Archuleta is a star: he's beautiful, charming and he can sing. He has delicious lips and a great personality. It's got to be daunting for the other kids when they see the reaction of the crowd to David each time he sings.

28. Why are people shocked about this stuff? I think AI is very silly and I don't get why so many people assume it's 100% fair.... it's a TV show, chill out. Even when you win AI it doesn't mean they are talented or will succeed, just look at the past winners that have been sacked by their record companies. Also, even some of the worst singers are kept on the show because of "cliques" that vote for them to make AI a big joke.

Jeez, I hope AI doesn't continue after this year..... I'm so tired of it being on TV all the time.
