"Idol" Kids -- Feudin' Like Cats and Dogs

We have spies -- of course we do -- inside "American Idol," and things between the contestants have gotten ugly from the get go.

At least one of the female contestants has taken cheap, Imus shots at Syesha Mercado, calling her hair "nappy," among other insults -- behind her back. Nice.

And the guys were ganging up against 17-year-old David Archuleta, making snarky remarks, again, behind his back. But who can blame them? Our sources say record execs at 19 Entertainment have already been in touch with top record publishers in Hollywood, and the word has already been sent out to songwriters to write this kid some tunes.

32. I think American Idol has 'jumped the shark' with all these contestants who've had prior TV and record exposure. There is nothing 'fresh' about someone who has already been discovered.

"Your spy" or what is the other excuse you use: "A close friend" , get all these kids together and find out if it true!!! Is that askting to much for you to do, really do some homework. 36. I guarantee you David will win......because he is from Utah. Never underestimate the voting power of the Mormons in Utah. Why do you think Marie lasted so long on Dancing with the Stars? Because Utahns have big families which means lots of people to vote for their local Utahns. Yeah, he's a good singer, but that doesn't mean anything if you don't have the big voting block. He could suck, and he'd still win.

(If not him, then the blonde Mormon girl will win. They seem to like her too, obviously. Those are the only two contestants the local Fox station mentions).

42. I don't normally watch that goofy show, but I did watch this week, Why is the girl with the skunk hair still there? She's a terrible singer! Isn't that show about singing?

44. I love David and Sayesha, and LOVE Ms. Epperson as well. I will just be happy when Danny is gone. I am gay, and most of my friends are gay, and we all agree that he is TOO GAY. Good god, could he be any queenier? He has a wonderful singing voice, but when he starts talking I just want to scream. I think if somebody would slip the guy a valium he might actually be one of the better contestants. Keep the Idol gossip coming, TMZ, but next time name some names!!
