91. American Idol is wack now, I stopped watching years ago, but I did hear that most of these people already had recording contracts in the past and put out albums. To me, American Idol is all about a person who has never done an audition, performed in front of an Audience. Not someone who's been there done that but trying to get a second chance. It wastes the viewers time and my time. They might as well just cast losers from Star Search. As for the nappy headed comments...that's heresay, now if TMZ had actual audio, now that's a story.

92. David A. Is the only reason I watch the show, and I'm not a tween....I'm 25. He is just naturally talented. He has a fantastic voice. I will definately buy his cd. He just seems like a very nice guy.

93. The show this year is showing how it is run. David is about like Katherine McPhee..he needs to be on broadway. That is it! I find him annoying and his antics in the background on Thurs night show were poorly acted out. At this point...Simon is bored, Paula has a hard time concentrating and Randy acts like he has preset what he is going to say. I have heard pitchy singing and they praise someone. I have heard good singing and they say the song was not meant for them. The judges are just really tired of it all I think. This is not the best year with the most talent. This is the year with the most with professional backgrounds who are being given second chances. I liked it when the show was real. Do you really think your vote counts when they make money off each vote? Come on...they know who they are keeping or letting go. Simon was on a show the other day (regis and Kelly) and he said they had offered him more money "not" to appear on the show. He said he is going for the money. This should be interesting what really happens but their viewers are going down and my family is one who is bored with it and possibly will not continue to watch for the whole season.

94. I agree #93. The show has lost its flavor. They all seem quite bored, Paula seems like a sweet person, but has trouble speaking. She can hardley figure out what to say or how to say it almost like a person who has had a stroke. Simon is just Simon, and he is mean rude and insulting. I like how Ryan Seacrest never acknowledges him in the end. Poor choice of who was let go last week.

95. if he had something in the past let me tell you he is not the only one i have already heard that others have had the same why has tmz not checked them out. It was alover the news already here in detrit. and yes the rules said that they do not have to have a current contract. so let not pick on the kid. he is the best sounding. im all for him. of course this is the beginning and lets see what happens in next weeks challenge. as we all know rockers suck at country. not saying i will lose my support for david I doubt that but most coments against david have been that he is cheating. check out the others then lets see what is going on. google the others names. I do not wish to bother with that but remember you have to vote to complain if you do not vote then you should not have a voice in anything good or bad.

97. I agree with poster #79, bella. This kid, David Archuletta does wheez in between song verses and also does it in between sentences during the after interview. The judges act as if this isn't happening. I mean, WTF, you never hear that kind of thing with songs played on the radio. Maybe that is why he didn't make it even after being on Star Search and having had a chance at a record contract. I am voting for Jason Castro, but if David A. is in the finals against anyone else, I will vote hard for that other contestant. David A. sucks and is a total plant placed there by the producers to win. We peeps who find him annoying need to vote against him and make sure he does not win.

98. If the so-called tweens make another kid win this year, I am no longer watching American Idol. I am sick of kiddy shows. Ewwy goohy Disney shows are what they will graduate to after the show.

99. Re: question #5, Filipinos are NOT hispanic. I ought to know because I am Filipino. Our language is similar to Spanish but we are by no means Hispanic. It is an apples vs orange comparison. Back to American Idol, IMHO, the best singer of the guys is David Archuleta, with Michael Johns a close second. For the gals, Ramiele is the best (and not because she is Filipino) and Carly Smithson and Brooke White both being a close second. Luke Menard (who could play Orlando Bloom's brother) should be a model or an actor. Kady Malloy is just darn cute and should think about modeling or acting as well.

I think it's sad that individuals have to resort to bad sportsmanship and jealousy against someone who doesn't deserve to be treated any less than what he deserves--respect. Usually, that type of behavior is due to something lacking within themselves.

First of all i have watching the show,and can honestly say that the onlt one that has shown me anything is david A.But with the girls not one has really done anything good i guess i'll wait and see.Now responding to the comment,If that was said i dont feel as it was the right thing to say (IF IT WAS SAID AT ALL),but it was not a very nice thing to say being that your all in this to win.And to the (A**HOLE) Noitall,Dont nobody want to look like no stringy head mop.And if she is spending that kind of money it aint none of your Damn bussiness its not your money,if you have any at all.You need to be carefully what you post because white people are not the only one that read TMZ.IF YOU CAN READ AT ALL

101. The thing that bugs me is that we might as well be watching "The David Archuleta Show: Where David Obviously Wins Time and Time Again!" There is almost no tension or variety, if your favorite isn't him, you might as well just wait for them to be voted off. Not to say the kid doesn't have a voice. He does, but it is kind of tiring to watch if you know that he will pretty much always be safe, consistent or not vocal-wise.

103. If the rumors, that the boys are ganging up on David A., then i actually think that that is normal.
David Archuleta has the makings of the next American Idol... he is likeable, he is smart, he is young,
he is good-looking, he has a great singing voice and he is very MARKETABLE. Of course, the rest of the
contestants would naturally be INSECURE.
But talking about nasty things behind David A's back is basically PATHETIC. Why don't they just give out
their best, and support one another. Besides, bickerings like these will not do them any good.
The more they put down David Archuleta, the more people love this awesome kid.
I hope that David wins this contest. I believe he deserves it. And don't say nasty words about his parents
as well. The kid is well loved and reared perfectly great by his parents. It's not his fault if every thing good is going
for him.
If he does not win this season, (i pray to God he will) i'm pretty sure he will still be a star. Recording companies are actually giving him offers as early as now.
So for the rest of the contestants. Don't be such sour losers. Just give the show your best shot! and America will vote wisely.

I'm so in love with the Davids of the show they are all doing so well i think the boys are really steping up this year as for the girls there are a lot of good ones oh and I am so in love with the white guy with the dreds and blue eyes OMG he is so hot he can sing to me any time. Oh and who can forgett Danny Please someone give him a record deal even if he dont win he should be famous like get his own show i love him he is funny sexy and not shy at all he is a star. This year is the best and may be that way for a very long time
