"Idol" Kids -- Feudin' Like Cats and Dogs

We have spies -- of course we do -- inside "American Idol," and things between the contestants have gotten ugly from the get go.

At least one of the female contestants has taken cheap, Imus shots at Syesha Mercado, calling her hair "nappy," among other insults -- behind her back. Nice.

And the guys were ganging up against 17-year-old David Archuleta, making snarky remarks, again, behind his back. But who can blame them? Our sources say record execs at 19 Entertainment have already been in touch with top record publishers in Hollywood, and the word has already been sent out to songwriters to write this kid some tunes.

107. I have been mesmerized by David Archuleta ever since I saw him on American Idol, then went to YouTube. The videos there (on YouTube) are mind-blowing, especially the Christmas songs. They are so beautiful and moving, Jews, Muslims, Buddists, and atheists were saying they would buy his Christmas CD.

I also like his old school and church stuff. Jaw dropping. You may be yawning to imagine having to watch them, but check it out. You will change your mind, trust me. He is astoundingly good. And the shy, sweet demeanor is genuine.

To get an idea of what he's really like, I recommend watching David Archuleta Interview Part 1 and Part 2 on YouTube, and MTV's three video clips of his friends and voice coach. This kid is the real deal. I predict he will win American Idol in a walk and become a mega-Star. I don't buy CDs, but I will buy everything David ever makes. Love this kid...and I am anything but a teenaged girl!
