Landlord to Brit: Pay Your Rent, Bitch!

As if Britney hasn't had enough tsuris, her Malibu landlord tried evicting her this month.

TMZ has seen documents sent to the official lessee for Brit -- Love Shack Trust. The documents, dated February 14, states that Brit was more than two weeks late in paying her $35,000-a-month rent. A $2,100 late charge kicked in, which was not paid. The documents state that Love Shack must either pay up or "surrender and deliver up possession of said Premises..."

There's an interesting last line in the docs, citing Section 594 of the Penal Code of California: "Every person who maliciously injures or destroys any real or personal property not his own...is guilty of vandalism."

Sources tell us Brit's financial peeps (not Jamie) screwed up but Love Shack is now current on rent and late fees and it's all kumbaya in Malibu.

54. why do people constantly look for something to dig into when it comes to britney? her life, especially her children and her financial affairs are none of anybodys business. it is not fair how people continue to trash her. no matter what she does, there are some people that continue to find something wrong with it. all of the negativity does not help her or her children. people need to show a little compassion and leave her alone. she does not ask for people to read these trashy sites or go looking for news on anything BRITNEY, but everybody comes looking for news on her. people need to understand that yes she is a celebrity but she is also sean and jadens mommy. no matter what she ever does, nothing will ever change that FACT. people that continue to thrive on bashing her need to understand that. no one knows her situation, other than what the paps have put in the news, and to down her for something that they have read is not fair. I try and not make any kind of assumptions unless i see something for myself, and all i see here is someone wanting to be able to see and raise her children in peace. i cannot imagine ever being without my children or my children ever being without their mommy. she is only human. how many other people can say that they have never made mistakes? there was only 1 other that could say that he never made a mistake, and he walked on water.

57. If I were Brit's landlord, I certainly wouldn't be "bitching" at Brit since there must be someone on Brit's payroll who is suppose to be paying her bills! Hell, I'd fire that person immediately!

58. I am not surprised about it. Britney has several homes, one of home she leased in New York that had been up for Sale late last year and three homes- Studio City,Malibu and West Hollywood. Just like Micheal Jackson's (has not been paying on time.) Maybe Britney thought she can get away with paying later and later on since she thought her status as " famous pop star"cause the land lords to let her have her ways from beginng. Since, she has lots of money, I wonder why she just simply buy homes instead renting them!

As for the poster that said "only 14 days late on rent" - UMMM - when you sign a rental agreement you agree to pay on time!! 14 days late is hardly on time.
