Britney: Inside the Dancer's Studio
Almost immediately following her release from the hospital in early February, Britney Spears went back into the dance studio, not only to work on her upcoming video, but to get back to one of her former favorite pastimes — teaching young boys and girls how to shake their tail-feathers like a platinum-selling pop star.
And now, as the singer continues her closed-door sessions with these lucky kids, OK! brings you an exclusive look at exactly what she's teaching them — and how it's helping her to become a better mom.
"We started out with about seven kids and now we've doubled that to 15," Robert Baker, owner of Millennium Dance Studios, where Brit teaches and rehearses, explains exclusively to OK!. "She wants to have different kids in the class each time to give everyone a chance to have fun."
At a class on Feb. 25, the students, who range in age from 8 to 15, lined up and handed Britney little gifts of flowers, chocolates and homemade cards. "She was so touched," Robert remembers. "She thanked each child individually. It was kind of surreal and very cute."
Robert tells OK! that the best part of each class comes at the end, when Britney plays a variety of dance games with her students. "One is called Freeze," he explains. "Everyone creates a circle and does a little dance step. Whoever gets off step has to stand in the circle. One time recently, she got off step but she didn't want to get into the circle, saying, 'Oh no, you guys! I'm not getting in the circle!'"
But with the students shouting back, "You got off step! You have to get in!" the pop star didn't have much of a choice. "The kids kind of revolted," says Robert. "It was very cute. And, of course she did it, and the kids went crazy laughing."
These lessons appear to be having a therapeutic effect on the mother of two. "Seeing her with these children, and then having these regular visits with her boys," Robert explains. "It's connecting the dots. I'm seeing a return to the old, loving Britney from before. She's really improving."

36. Ok, here is what I completely can't seem to get about Britmadness...I feel bad for Britney and all. I love(d) to shop, I love my starbucks, and I love(d) to skip around town with friends and whatnot. But dang, if she hates the paparazzi tailing her everywhere...she is gonna have to change a few things. There are starbucks in other parts of the world, I mean, come on, get OUT of california. Montana is beautiful. So is Oregan. Oprah used to have a ranch in northern Indiana in a really secluded area. There ARE ways to get around this mass of hype that follows her everywhere. She has got the money to get out...I REALLY wish she would. I SOOOO want her to just gracefully dissappear not because I don't like her but because by continuing these same patterns - she isn't going to make it. This is no longer about BRIT. BRIT and the tabloids and her whole persona seriously is a whole new product and phenomenon now that really, seriously, has little to do with the Britney Spears we came to know and "buy" years ago. If Britney Spears (which includes Britney, the human being also) wants to the whole BRIT drama to end and if she wants to become separate from that phenomenon - she CAN make it happen but she has got to change her routine, her location, and her approach to social life. With all that money, she has no reason to leave her home. If she MUST party, shop, get starbucks, etc. in Cali, she could have friends OVER, SHOP ONLINE, order your groceries, enjoy your kick a$$ mansion...why even go out? I'm glad she is hiding right now and I hope and pray she keeps it up! You are a smart WOMAN Britney - you can figure this mess out and win!

40. Did you hear that photographer's question? Hell. I cannot believe how disgusting that is. It's not even necessary, not interesting and more repugnant than imaginable. I cannot imagine the constraint it takes to not want to beat the holy living crap out of someone so crass. No wonder other countries look at us with scorn. Who needs President Bush to wreck stuff when we have the brilliant paparazzi!
