SNL's biggest problem is that it has not been funny for years. Oh, and they should not feature lip synching no talents as their musical acts. That just adds to their credibility issues.

63. Obama is not only African-American, he is half white. Being of mixed race, as this SNL performer is, is a fact that America seems to have forgotten lately about Obama. So were they color blind when they chose someone else of mixed race to portray him? I view this as a complement because I am sick of people denying Obama his mixed race heritage; essentially denying 1/2 of his identity.

64. Obama is half white. He was raised by a white mother and white grandparents. He has a midwestern accent, yet when he speaks among largely African-American crowds, he tries to talk like a "brotha". He's a big phony.

65. Stick with celebrity trainwrecks, TMZ- you totally fell flat on this one. Fred did a great job- he had the tone and mannerisms perfect. It isn't how an actor looks but how he mimics- remember the old Bill Clinton impersonations? He looked nothing like Bill, but he had the character down so well if you heard it on the radio you wuld think it was the president.

If we have to tiptoe around lame race-baiting remarks for four years I would like to take my vote for Obama back now please.

69. This is absolutely ridiculous. If they are going to call SNL out for something they've done for years, then I'm calling out every black actor who has put on white-face. People need to get over themselves and this PC crap. Are you telling me that Kenan had to play Barack because he's blacker? Well, he's also a fatty and Barack is not. Lorne picked the best actor for the job and I support his decision.

Also, TMZers made valid points that Barack is half white and SNL has been casting actors in different races and genders since its inception. And the for the twits who blamed it on "liberals" you need to get over yourself and your preconceived notions as well.

Look, Obama is well-packaged and has great speech writers and he does speak well. Unfortunately, being able to inspire people is not anything like being able to inspire lawmakers and world leaders. Clinton HAS the plans and the drive and the desire and more importantly, the ABILITY. I get why so many gravitate toward Obama - it's an easy message, there's no real thought behind it, and he's packaged like a rock star. (Announcing him at rallies, getting the crowd worked up and making him wait almost a minute to come out - total rock star stuff.) But Hillary has had the plans since she began and has not had to come up with speeches last minute directed towards certain groups she left out like Barack did to the LGBT community - she has supported them since day one! Look, anyone looks good after W but let's look beyond the packaging and easy catch-phrase message and let's think about who actually has plans and is ready to move on day one. Everyone talks about how Barack's "borrowed" words matter crap from Deval Patrick was AOK because Patrick said OK, but no one mentions Patrick hasn't gotten much done because he's a newbie with a huge learning curve. Sorry but the country is in such disarray that we need more than inspiring newbie fluff....we need experienced substance that can do more than talk. Clinton all the way!!!

73. Actually, i never got the part of everyone referring as to Obama as the (possible) First BLACK president.

How come no one has referred to him as just a man, or a WHITE man? He is half white and half black. so dont call him Black. Or at least if you are going to refer to him as Black sometimes, then also refer to him as White some of the times.

Oprah Winfrey is a Black woman. PBS did a study on her and she's 99% pure African.
When i see the first Black President, it will be someone whose skin color might be the same as Obama's or close to it or darker or much darker, but it will be a person who has had no white blood in their family for at least a few generations. Oback is the immediate product of a white mother and a black dad. I never refer to him as White, and i never refer to him as Black. He is neither. He racially mixed. Many people are racially mixed in different ways. Obama's happens to be White + Black.

It doesnt make him more or less than anyone else, but please stop stepping around the elephant in the room and refer to him as what he is or do not make any mention of his race at all. It drives me crazy when i hear 80percent of the people referring to him as BLACK, or he's getting the Black vote because he's black. and the fault is among Whites and Blacks and everyone else.

The man is not Black. The man is not White.
