Heath Ledger's Treasured Van Stolen

Heath Ledger's father Kim -- who is sorting out his deceased son's estate -- has discovered that Heath's cherished 1975 green Volkswagen van was stolen around the time of his death, and his father desperately wants it back.

According to news.com.au, Kim reported the stolen van to Australian police last Friday. Heath had reportedly given the van to a long-time friend for safekeeping when he moved to the U.S. from Australia.

Because of Heath's celebrity and mass vehicle upgrades, the van is now valued at $70,000.

23. Hey this isnt about money....the ledger's are very humble people have you seen their house on the news ..... it was special to Heath or he would have sold it. And after all its still part of his estate regardless of the no doubt over pricing NO ONE IN OZ would pay that...........NOT EVEN ON THE BAY LOL LOL.

Its just creepy that some morbid F___K stole a dead persons property...................

28. Will it ever end? This man has passed away and should be able to rest in peace and his family should not have to deal with theives. It just goes to show how people behave when someone has passed away. Pathetic truly pathetic!!!!

29. Yeah - probably stolen by the Gay Alliance 'down under' because for some reason his old home state apparently has more homos than the rest of the country put together.
They probably want it to use as a kinda 'promo' vehicle in recognition of how Heathy had promoted their 'cause' so well in BrokeButt Mountin'.

They are all real upset after they heard he was shortlisted later this year for lead role in some new movies called - 'Forrest Hump', 'CliffBanger' and 'When Harry met Harry'
In the last one maybe the two Harry's were to 'get off' in the back of a VW Kombi Van?

Anyways - looks like he wont be makin' any of 'em!
