I'd get her an apartment in a middle class neighborhood in Boston that's furnished with the essentials with the rent paid for 2 months. I'd give her a cell phone that's paid for a month and $500 cash. She'd have to stay in the apartment for at least 1 year and she'd have to get a real job on her own merits without any outside help.

My husband and I don’t post here because Billy’s comment (45) is accurate and perceptive. But I had to applaud you on your post – it is very true.

As parents, we realize that we are fortunate that both of our children were able to achieve their dreams through hard work, talent, education and integrity – without using others or making fools out of themselves. They not only live happy and fulfilling lives, they also have global awareness, and are deeply committed to environmental issues and charitable causes that will hopefully help others create a better world. Forgive us if we sound naïve, but we truly believe that this is the American Dream…these are our hopes for the youth of this country. They are certainly not reflected in Hilton’s pitiable behavior or the crude and jealous comments her few fans (same person?) have posted here.
