51. There is just something so terribly wrong with writing about other people's conditions and infections. Like, OMG--Nicole Ritchie Has a Yeast Infection!!! And then everybody wants to comment about how nasty she must be like IT COULD NEVER HAPPEN TO YOU?????
Good God, yes Amy's a mess--yes she's a druggie--yes she may be nasty; but what difference should that make in your life. She's not the bloody first and she won't be the bloody last! Just because other celebs keep themselves hidden with their addictions etc. doesn't make her ANY worse than them.
And maybe one day she'll be better and maybe not. I really do sincerely hope that everyone that comments about her infection today someday get's their medical history blasted on the local press. Karma baby, Karma.

Have children use soap and water to clean their skin and be sure they take baths and showers regularly." Also, it was indicated picking at sores and pimples on your face can cause it as it spreads bacteria from dirty hands.

57. Impetigo is NOT drug related. It is also more commonly known as ringworm and there are not many kids who has not nor did not ever get it.
It is NOT from being dirty either. It is exactly what the article said it is, a bacterial skin disease and believe it or not ,it is closely tied to acne flair ups, sunburn, tanning beds, make-up, and recent dental work (where the moist mucus membranes in the cheek are contaminated by infections of the mandible or maxilla).
Get a grip folks, AIDS? Come on, seriously, it is contagious BUT only if you have an open wound and the pus from an open sore leaks directly into that open wound.
It is mostly spread on the host person by, of all thigs, washing yourself!
Just because a person in of some noteworthyness, and/or in the news for some reason does NOT give free license to take pot shots. It simply shows ignorance of the topic aand possible the inhumaneness of the human race.
When did people stop caring and just show out in a venue where the person being talked about has no way of defending themselves? Gossip is wrong and in written form is libelous and slanderous and legal grounds for lawsuits and more discussion in a less than perfect medium.

I have to agree with Natalie Cole....giving this druggie a Grammy just sends the wrong message to young inspiring artists, who would think after seeing Amy crackhouse win a Grammy that taking drugs wont hinder their carreers. Please take a good look at her people...that is how you look when you take drugs...skin effections, falling teeth, pale skin, how could her agents even think that she is marketable.
