Angry Viewers Demand Gay Love

There's plenty of making out happening on "As the World Turns," but fictional boyfriends Luke Snyder and Noah Mayer are getting very little action. The couple hasn't kissed on screen since September!

It seems as if viewers are not pleased, according to the LA Times. They've started a letter writing campaign demanding the show give the couple some steamy scenes.

Included in the campaign for action is a countdown clock tracking the hours since the couple's last kiss and an online petition.

47. Letter writing campaigns such as this are often done by a very small, yet very socially active group of people. Do not let such a "public outcry" be mistaken for what most people want. It is for what a small, vocal minority wish to push on others.

48. Guess what people. There are only going to be more and more gay people who are out--they are not going to just go away! And like it or not, it is going to be more and more widely accepted. It's better that you get over it now or kill yourself later (either is fine with me).

And to repeat, two women kissing, fecking, etc has been turning on straight men for decades. It's about time women get theirs--it's super-hot to watch two men getting it on. Don't knock it till you watch it. And if you don't like it, turn your head. If you don't tell your kid that it's wrong, they won't think anything about it.

50. Anon, the gay lifestyle is tolerated not accepted. The majority of us do not want to even think about the gay lifestyle. I know I don't. To each his own but don't get it twisted, we are forced to accept your way of life. We don't agree with it. God forbid we say anything negative about your promiscuous ways---We become the enemy. I have told both my daughters that if they were to live a gay lifestyle it would be wrong and I don't want them to do it. I don't want that for my kids no parent does. The poor parents of gays just have to tolerate the lives their kids chose to live. Toleration is not the same as acceptance!

52. This is utterly disgusting. If people want to be homosexual okay, but don't get the idea that seeing it acted out on daytime television is something that most people want to see. I'm sure that a certain segment of the audience enjoys man on man or woman on woman sex, but not the mainstream. If you want to see homosexual sex , just turn to your local pornography station, not your daily soap opera.
