He starred in "Office Space" and broke up with Carrie Bradshaw via Post-It, but one TMZ photog had no idea who the heck Ron Livingston was outside a celebrity poker tournament.


Unbelievably, the shooter actually asked Ron who he was, right to his face. We're going to need you to go ahead and ... yeah ... just tell us who you are ...

17. T M Z............................YOU ARE MORON'S. RON had a huge role in "BAND OF BROTHERS"...........one of the best movies (mini series) of all time IMO. Truly you all are stupid. 18. TMZ, I think it was very brave of you to run that segment. Ron Livingston is an excellent actor and he deserves more recognition than he has known. The fact that your cameraman did not know his name is proof of that. He was very kind to not make you feel bad, and I thank you for exposing this segment to the world, because now he will be more famous than ever. FOX was ignorant for cancelling Standoff. It was a masterpiece in progress. Had they given it a fighting chance, I have no doubt that Ron would have picked up an Emmy; for it and for them. Thank you TMZ.
