"Idol" or Drowning Daughter? Mom Chose "Idol"

Sirius BrownA 25-year-old mother of five accidentally left two of her young children in the bathtub last week in Indianapolis, leaving one to nearly drown -- because she was too busy watching "American Idol." Don't worry -- like Luke Menard, the kid survived.

According to a police report, Sheila Brooks placed her youngest kids (Sirius, 3, and Sereena, 1) in the tub and then went to another room to fetch some clothes. After watching "Idol" for a few minutes with two of her other children -- Daesheana, 7, and Dasianaye, 5 -- Brooks suddenly remembered about the other two kids and sent Daesheana to get them out.

The police say that when Daesheana got to the bathtub, she found Sirius submerged underwater and not moving. She called for her mom, who then performed CPR and called 911.

As of now no charges have been filed and Sirius is still in the hospital, according to WIBC radio.

17. Just an F.Y.I. for those who are asking... Sirius is the brightest star in our sky other than the sun. Sometimes called the Dog Star (I believe). That is what the satelite radio service is named after.

Black people name their kids names with meanings. It's white people that are too dumb to even try to pronounce them. But she is an idiot. Yet, accidents do happen. I find it amusing that everyone is saying how sick Britney is and how she needs help and she is even on this smae site with a group of kids. And this woman makes a stupid mistake and now she's mommy dearest. Since when is weed worse than coke and prescription drugs.

26. At least the kid made it. Here in Memphis a mom went out to a New Years Eve party, got her drink on and returned home after midnite to find her house burned down and the baby that she left alone dead. Looks like these kids won the lottery when they got parents. Peace out.
