Brit's Dad Pays Himself -- Out of Her Money!

Britney SpearsA court commissioner has ruled that Jamie Spears can draw $2,500 a week from Britney's accounts as conservator of her affairs. It pays to be Britney's dad!

TMZ has obtained the minute order from yesterday's conservatorship hearing. In it, the judge ruled on the money, plus gave him the right to lease a car.

The commish also ruled that Samuel Ingham, Brit's court-appointed attorney, be paid $58,800.

As we reported yesterday, the judge also extended the conservatorship until July 31. But sources tell us that Jamie wants to end the conservatorship before then if his Brit's mental state improves.

The reason "vultures" keep reporting on peoples personal lives is because people like YOU and I keep trafficing websites such as this one. Stay off the gossip sites if you don't want to hear about it! puh-lease!

49. I'm sure he's had to give up on his restaraunt/catering business and needs money to live on while dealing with her affairs as well as her personally 7 days a week. If it was an outrageous amount I would think the judge would have denied his request.

50. If I had the money I'd pay him 2500 to be my dad for a week. I'd pay anything to have my dad for a week.
God Bless my sweet daddy, I miss you and ache for you everyday of my life.

51. He is her father, he shouldn't get paid for something he should of done a long time ago. Britney needs someone who is going to be there for her not her money. I feel sorry for her!

52. Wrong, wrong, wrong! That SOB created that monster...he should have to deal with her out of his own pocket! What would you need that much money for in a week, anyway?

53. it says that he "can draw" that amount of money but it does not say that he has, and i agree it's a small price to pay to get your life back, she needs the help, it's sad how she has gone down over time, she needs help i love her and wish her the best in her recovery and get those babies back, GO BRITNEY!!!!

54. Jaime Spears has hired numerous people with Britney's money to take care of Britney. he has not given up his life. Britney's estate is a revokable trust administrated by her brother. Papa Spears only responsibility is to ask for money from the trust supposedly for britney's needs. Why she needs to pay $30,000 in rent for a house she's not even allowed to visist I don't know.
As far as his convenient statements that he is willing to end the conservatorship early, I believe that as much as the statement in People that claimed Britney was fine with her family. Britney was asked if she was happy with her family by the paps and she said no. my guess Jaime spears threatened to not let her out of the house after that, just like he took away her cell phone.
If this was anyone else doing this to her except her father (who britney Spears was vehemently against getting the conservatorship) people would be outraged. What is wrong with you people?

55. I am the executor for my grandmother's estate and I can tell you this, its like having a second job. You have to deal with family issues and petty stuff. I’ve had to take off work to attend court hearings, pay bills and clean houses, meet with agents everything. You will never get back the amount of time and money you put into this because it takes a large amount of unaccounted for time. If Mr. Spears is unable to work his regular job while taking care of his ADULT child and she bring in over 700K a month just setting on her fanny then I see no reason that he should not be compensated fairly for his time. Plus it says he can draw does not mean that he will. It's no diffrence then a parent spending SSI money to care for a child and pay their bills if they can not work. I'm sure a large part of this money is being spent on Brit and Mr. Spears expenses because of Brit .

57. People who have a problem with this are majorly screwed up. If they reported that Britney spent $70,000 on a new car or for a pool or some other frivolous crap you wouldn't blink an eye. This is a small price to pay (to her own family - not some creepy hanger-on) to enable them to help her back to normalcy. If her family gets shut out again, she will probably wind up dead very soon after.

58. This whole conservatorship thing has resulted in some impressive paydays for many people, not just Papa!

59. When my Mom died and an executor of her estate was named she was paid monthly. Isn't it the norm for conservators and executors to be paid for their time. Mine was my aunt. Aunt, Dad, stranger they would all be paid. Mr. Spears wouldn't even move into the Mansion she built for the family in Kentwood because the home he provided her was still good enough for him. Her mama is the one who has fed her to the wovles since she was little. Maybe that is why Jaime isn't still married to her!!

60. He has every right to be paid - he is a well know chef areound the area and could easily make that and much more working - I paid rent when I lived at home after school, were they bad parent to get paid to care for me in the house I was raised in? Absolutely not! She is no longer a minor. Grow up!
