Brit's Dad Pays Himself -- Out of Her Money!

Britney SpearsA court commissioner has ruled that Jamie Spears can draw $2,500 a week from Britney's accounts as conservator of her affairs. It pays to be Britney's dad!

TMZ has obtained the minute order from yesterday's conservatorship hearing. In it, the judge ruled on the money, plus gave him the right to lease a car.

The commish also ruled that Samuel Ingham, Brit's court-appointed attorney, be paid $58,800.

As we reported yesterday, the judge also extended the conservatorship until July 31. But sources tell us that Jamie wants to end the conservatorship before then if his Brit's mental state improves.

You're just mad cause Sam can't steal her money any longer. Jamie is her dad & he deserves every penny & more for taking care of his daughter. The Spears family have always been close until Sam came along & tried to isolate Britney from everyone who truly loved her. Hats off to Mr. Spears for doing such a great job & goodby to Sam Lutfi who is a monster. I hope the restraining order stays in place for a long long time.

68. Okay, I aree he should receive some kind of compensation, but $2500 a week seems rather excessive. And why on earth does he need to lease a car? Isn't that his pickup that we always see him driving around? And since he is control of Brit's assets, then why on earth doesn't he just drive on of his daughter's 10 cars instead of taking more money for a leased car.

69. What some are forgetting here is, if Jamie Spears was NOT in the picture, she would NOT be seeing her kids at all!!! His life has been placed on hold and I am sure that he is like the rest of us, in which he has to pay his bills as well. Only fair that he gets paid for all that he is doing. So many people were complaining months ago that her parents weren't stepping in and helping Brit, and now that Jamie has done that, you find something wrong with him getting paid? Would be no different than if some other average person was the conservator. People ought to be grateful that Britney is not on the L.A. streets driving like crazy or doing and other crazy thing she has done over the last numerous months, Since her father has had some control of her, she has been acting like a "normal" individual. And to celebs and their families, $2,500.00 a week is peanuts to them. It is a lot of money to us average people, but not to the celebs and tehir families. He deserves every penny he gets! And Britney ought to be thanking her lucky stars that her dad is in this position, because, if it was not for him, she would not be seeing the kids.

No one truly cares about this woman . sam was right, it all about money with her parents if they really did care about her they should have been in her life a long time when she started to spiral since her divorce but they left her alone and offer her no help. No decent paent who truly luv their daughter will ask to be pay because u are helping ur flesh and blood. He is no diferent from Lynn spears, sam and so much more.

72. Please don't forget it was her parents that brought her into this world. They raised her and spent money to get her where she is today. I am so thankful that they stepped up and are in control of her assests so that others cannot cash in on her. They are trying to do the best thing for her. Evidently K-Fed recognized this because he is granting visitation to her with her boys. I think K-Fed knows that she needed visitation to help with her recovery. And I feel that he is glad that the ex inlaws stepped in. He knew Sam Luffi was up to no good!! Just leave them alone and that goes for the paparriz too!

73. Why should he get paid, I ask you! She isn't any better. Dancing does not cure mental illness. She needs a real therepist, and not a money grubbing parent. He is just like Lynne.

74. I'm having this weird fantasy that Dad and Brit take up GOLFING! She starts getting really good and begins winning tournaments! Her golf coach is a real hottie, who already made his own fortune,and they fall in love...They hit the golf course by 7am every morning and soon Kevin and the kids join Mom on the greens! Brit still teaches dance cause she likes it and it improves her golf swing! Kevin brings the kids to her dance class to show he's still got some moves and their boys LOVE IT!
Brit marries the golf pro and her Dad and Kevin walk her down the aisle while Perez Hilton video tapes the whole thing!
Disney calls and wants to make a movie about it ! Jaime Lynn plays Brit and everyone lives happily ever after.....

75. The process Brit and Dad are in, is called "Probate" in some states. Brit has been adjudged incapable of handling her own affairs (obvious). I was my Dad's guardian (conservator after a diagnosis of dementia). The cost of living in California is higher than Ohio... so, the reimbursement is much higher - you have no idea how many legal loops the court demands the conservator to jump through. What ever money Mr. Dad is getting don't worry, he's earning it. The court demands record keeping on all accounts, proof of care....it's easier baby sitting a 2 year old than a twenty something off her meds.
