Celebrity Justice
Gummi Charged with Heroin and DUI

The LA District Attorney has just charged Jason Davis -- aka Gummi Bear -- with felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor driving under the influence. The controlled substance in question -- heroin. Yikes!
Read the docs
Davis was popped by LAPD on Ventura Blvd. in Van Nuys last Friday. Police sources told us at the time of the arrest that the substance in question was cocaine, but it turns out it was much more serious than that.

35. Not all heroin users are thin, that's actually a stereotype. Most are but it slows your metabolism actually and makes some people hungrier and gain weight. Also, I'm never offended by TMZ before but now Cocaine is better for you than snorting heroin? Since when? Denial, anyone?

36. An illegal drug can also be a controlled substance, it's not mutually exclusive

40. Why is possesion of heroin "much more serious" than cocaine?

I thought it was a felony to possess either... unless you are Lindsay Lohan, of course.

41. "16. Since when did HEOIN become a controlled substance? I thought it was an illegal substance!
TMZ, you might want to hire some new writers....................the strike is over!"

*******
first of all, use a spell-checker.

secondly, heroin is a controlled substance, a scheduled drug, schedule I to be precise. There is such a thing as pharmaceutical-grade heroin and is a last-resort drug for terminally ill patients although drug mania usually prevents Doctors from prescribing the drug - wouldn't want a person with 3 months to live getting addicted don'tcha know, better to let them writhe in agony while they die.

"heroin" is a trademarked name of the Bayer corporation (you know, the aspirin people). They synthesized it from opium and it was legally sold until the morality police got drug-mania early in the 20th century.

instead of popping off an ignorant post why not educate yourself, it's a big world wide web with plenty of information that will keep you from sounding like an idiot.

44. Who is the irresponsible ignorant moron who wrote this article? "The substance in question was cocaine, but it turns out it was much more serious than that." HELLO?? Cocaine is just as serious as Heroin, they are both hard drugs & are both highly addictive. they are both equally bad in their own way & can ruin or end one's life... Get educated.

45. Seriously, who is this fat loser and why do we or TMZ care?
