What a cool guy, totally a class act. He understands the public is who pays him and respects him and it shows. I would never approach a celebrity as I think its in poor taste but he seems to not care at all.

Wow, I expected some crazy rant, judging by the article you wrote. Tom seems like a nice, normal person.

Gee Tom, do you remember a day when Hollywood wasn't filled with nepotism? When people, like say, I don't know, Colin Hanks couldn't wake up one day and say "Daddy, I want to be in a movie." Next thing you know he is proving that talent is not a hereditary trait. Colin Hanks should be pumping my gas not starring in films.

Always a class-act. Long marriage, keeps his pants on, treats fans with respect, performs well as an actor, keeps his head straight, and doesn't seem to have caved to the botox and plastic surgery epidemic.

Tom Hanks is awesome.... and I don't really care if his son is getting work just because he is his son. That's what they all do. Well, not all... at least the kid is trying to have a career and not just drinking and snorting away his parents money like a lot of the younger celebuspawns out there.

I didn't see anything wrong with this clip either. He was nice enough to give the camera guy the time of day and not punch him in the face and yet the guy still stalks Hanks down the street asking him stupid questions. These camera guys DO realize how stupid and needy they sound all the time, right? They're just askin for a good punch, lol

Tom Hanks is well loved and respected . He , along with Spielberg have brought us some awesome entertainment over the years .
As for the paps , well one thing that will be really enjoyable to see is Ashton Kutcher's new P'unked show that is focused on p'unking these paps and gossip outlets , called Pop Fiction.
There is nothing wrong with photographers per se , but when they are in your face asking assinine questions to get some sort of response , crossing every fathomable boundary , it only further illustrates that there are no requirements or specific skills for their jobs other than knowledge of operating their cameras.
Paps for the most part are uneducated .
Majority are high school drop outs that if it weren't for the high price these gossip outlets pay for prize pics , they would be working at footlocker or McDonalds flipping burgers.
Also , notice how every pap you see looks like he is in desperate need of a bath to begin with ...and I've yet to see an attractive one . One would think that one of the requirements to be a pap smear is that you also have to be really ugly .

Tom's a total class act. IMO, he's the best actor in Hollywood and always seems to be making people laugh. He'd be my first choice of someone I'd like to have a beer with.
