Kristen Bell Goes on a (Fender) Bender

TMZ has learned that "Heroes" star Kristen Bell was involved in an accident on Hollywood Blvd. this afternoon.

Her silver Saturn VUE Hybrid SUV was towed from the scene. Her front left axle was damaged, leaving the car not drivable. A witness tells us Kristen hit another SUV driven by a heavyset man.

Kristen's rep says the police were called, but never showed. Cops tell us they have no record of a call.

No one was injured.

Bell gave an interview to the AP back in 2004 in which she said when she was 17, her best friend died in a car accident.

23. She was probably using her cell phone, distractred, and talking about something INANE with a friend about boyfriends. Ever heard women in a coffee shop or at a mall walking by you? They can't shut their trap about the this and thats of guys, it's all about guys and gossip, pathetic. She deserves to be sued tenfold by he driver she hit.

27. I am happy that both Kristen and the guy she it are ok. Also stop saying crap about female drivers. I know plenty of female drivers who are better then male drivers.

Also don't call Kristen a dingy blonde or cracker, She has done nothing to ever make anyone have some kind of hate on her. She is a sweet beautiful woman who really cares for her fans and people in general.

And Jim4Liz you really shouldn't say stuff like that. You have no idea what was going on. So don't try and bring up crap like that. I think Kristen is probablya safer driver then you. How do you know the guy infront of her didn't all the sudden stop with no warning.

29. Rob, if she rear ended a vehicle in front of her, that means she was not paying attention to the road or she was driving to close, that's called TAILGATING. The California Department of Motor Vehicles Handbook which can be viewed at their website in PDF format on page 24 states that "most rear accidents are caused by tailgating. To avoid tailgating, use 'the three second rule'. When the vehicle ahead of you passes a certain point such as a sign, count 'one-thousand-one, one-thousand-two, one-thousand-three.' This takes about three seconds. If you pass the same point before you finish counting, you are following to closely." That's why insurance premiums for young people are so high as well, because of drivers like her. So do I think she was distracted or talking on the phone? Yes I do. She is a ditz!

30. Yeah but you don't know this for sure. That is why I said you shouldn't be putting the blame on just her. The guy infront of her could have stopped suddenly. I have had an accident before where the person infront of me stopped out of nowhere. So that is also an idea that could have happened. I am not saying that it isn't possible Kristen caused it also. But just putting the blame on her is wrong when you have no clue what the hell happened.
