the obama following has more to do with a writer's strike being on and a lot of pepole using U-tube, text messaging and looking for something to do and a place they could leave the house and hook up with others, and less to do with Obama.

108. i have no problem with Oprah's African school, but yes, she could have done something like that here too, especially in poor places where she was born - Mississippi? How did she miss THAT? Just goes to show no matter how big you are, you are subject to flaws.

Oprah needs to tread carefully from here on in.
First she got duped by that Fake book writer who she had back on and she let him have it.
Second, she had that plastic surgeon on letting him sing his practices - Kenyan West's mother died at the surgeon's hands.
Third, she backed Obama, when clearly Hillary was a better choice. AND THIS WAS A WAKE UP CALL about Oprah for me.
HOW COULD AN INTELLIGENT WOMAN SAY THAT SHE IS BEING FAIR WHEN SHE CHOOSES BARACK OVER HILLARY?

and how do the poorest people in the land in Mississippi go for someone like Obama when they need a proven go-getter to pull them out of poverty?

i'd like to get beyond race. i await the day when we refer to people just as a "man" or a "woman" instead of a woman and a black man. but we are not there yet and both sides are to blame. But Oprah is in a high profile Leadership role, and she erred big time, because millions act according to her preferences and they really rely on her judgement.

I'm praying that God steps in and pulls it out for Hillary as he did with CA and MA when hope seemed gone.
And i must say here that there are some staunch Black Leaders who have stuck to their guns and said, Listen, I was backing her from the beginning, and i have no intentions of changing because obama is the more popular, so i shout for joy for those who are that brave.

John Lewis who was so close to MLK obviously didnt learn the lesson of not judging by skin color and standing up for the right person regardles of whether it is comforting or chalenging. Shame on John Lewis who made up his mind that Clinton was the better candidate but changed his vote to please what is "popular."

Hillary and some others who dropped out earlier deserve to be in this fight.
John McCain deserves to be in this fight.
Obama deserves to learn the ropes the same way everybody else had to. why should he get a free pass?
When did skincolor become a qualification to lead a nation?
and SHAME ON THE MEDIA FOR NOT DOING THEIR JOB AND EXPOSING THIS FLAKE FOR WHAT HE IS.
AND SHAME ON MICHELLE OBAMA FOR HER ATTITUDE AND TELLING YOUNG COLLEGE PEOPLE NOT TO GO INTO CORPORATE AMERICA. OUR NATION WILL FAIL IF OUR YOUNG EDUCATED PEOPLE DO NOT BECOME A PART OF THE FABRIC THAT IS THIS NATION'S BACKBONE. AND SHAME ON MICHELLE NOT TO FORGE HER OWN IDENTITY INSTEAD OF TRYING TO WEAR THE SAME STYLE CLOTHING AS JACKIE-O, AND TRYING TO WEAR HER HAIR THE SAME WHILE HER HUSBAND TRIES TO BE JFK ON SOME DAYS AND MLK ON OTHER DAYS. THEY ARE BOTH PHONIES BRINGING UP THEIR CHILDREN IN A CHURCH WITH UN-AMERICAN VALUES. SHAME ON THEM FOR NOT LEAVING THAT CHURCH AND DAMAGING THE MINDS OF THOSE CHILDREN TO BECOME JUST LIKE THEM.

111. Of course not all young people are for Obama, but he is getting a big chunk of the votes. Just like not all are slackers and looking for a free ride. Just way too many in my opinion.

his qualifications to become President of these United States of America and

Obama mentioned his church during his appearance with Oprah. It's the Trinity United Church of Christ. I found this interesting. Please read and
go to this church's website and read what is there. It is very alarming.

congregation has a non-negotiable commitment to Africa; no where is AMERICA even mentioned.

Notice too, what color you will need to be if you should want to join Obama's church...
B-L-A-C-K!!! They make no apologies for this nor do they encourage a diversified congregation.

Doesn't look like his choice of religion has improved much over his (former?) Muslim upbringing. One group of people over all others.

Strip away his nice looks, the big smile and smooth talk and what do you

get? Certainly a racist, as plainly defined by the stated position of his
church! And possibly a covert worshiper of the Muslim faith, even today.

This guy desires to rule over America while his loyalty is totally vested in
a Black Arica! Is this someone you want sitting in the White House calling
the "shots?"

I cannot believe this has not been all over the TV and newspapers. This is
why it is so important to pass this message along to all of our family and
friends. To think that Obama has even the slightest chance in the run for
the presidency, is really scary.
