16. Yes it does make sense! It's not just their time. It's the parallegal's time. It material used for the client. It's filing fees and court fees. And it's any and all expenses. Once you take that out, and we will never know how much that really is, then it does make sense.

18. i hope that when this finishes britney takes a much needed extended vacation with her kids away from tmz and all the other animals that suround her. and when she over the vacation plans a new record and world tour and make money the best way she knows how by being britney.

If she does not get her mental act together she will wake up and be broke...Every time she goes to court and freaks out and has to go back the next day or week the Lawyers will charge again for each visit .... That's how it works!! That is why it is soooo important she gets her head together!!!!!!!! Please!!! Don't had a 2 or 3 million dollars on Lawyers...... Settle out of court if you can!!!!!

22. As a first year law student who hasn't slept in days because of a stupid legal brief due in a couple days, I feel I must disagree on this one. I don't care how shady MVK or thoses trope ladies might be...they still deserve the big money just for getting through law school! I don't know if I will be able to say the same for myself. 24. I agree that she is overpaying, but I find it hard to be in the corner of someone that has done so many odd things. It would be one thing if she had made all of her court appearances without delay and that she has expedited the process as quickly as possible. It is a whole other thing if she is delaying the process.

The courts are backlogged enough, without having to deal with this nonsense.

If she had acted her age & truely been a good parent to her sons.............. this court battle would have been signed sealed & OVER with! Maybe being screwed out of millions by attornies fees will make her realize that one way or another........ she'll pay for her actions

28. Have you people ever had to hire a high-powered lawyer, especially in L.A.? This is how much it costs. As in any other profession, lawyers will charge as much as the market will bear. It's called capitalism, baby.

29. WhY does the case require so many lawyers? Is one for each side not enough?? I have a friend who divorced her abusive husband. The case dragged on for almost 2 years. Lawyers stand to gain a lot monetarily from having their cases drag on. Not all lawyers are bad and yes we need them unfortunately sometimes but I think they create such havoc between the clients that it only makes the situation worse. When my daughter divorced I encouraged her and her husband to do the divorce themselves...although it was a sad and terrible time they got it done peacefully and quickly.
