Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Heather Locklear's psychiatrist is the one who called 911, after speaking with her on the phone.
We're told the shrink spoke with Heather on Saturday night and was alarmed because she was "upset" and he believed she might OD on medication prescribed for depression. The call was listed with dispatch as a "suicide attempt."
We're told when paramedics arrived, Heather was OK and it was a false alarm.

Until you have walked in their shoes, you have no right to treat it as a laughing matter. It doesn't matter if you are rich, it doesn't mean you can't have emotional problems. Let's just hope she gets whatever help she needs so that she
doesn't take a permanent approach to a temporary problem.

67. One of the side effects of some antidepressants is suicidal ideation. It may be that she was experiencing this SE and did the right thing and called her doc. The bad news about doing that is she is a celebrity and now EVERYONE knows that, one, she thought about killing herself and two, she's taking antidepressants.
With all the hullaballoo in her life recently, it's not surprising that she is on antidepressants.....

They would never be able to handle the problems of paying bills, going to a REAL job everyday, raising kids without the help of a nanny! These people make me sick! Heather, get over yourself!!
DEPRESSION is real, it's an illness, you surely wouldn't be saying these words if she or others out there had cancer, diabetes, heart disease. Wake up, do some research! Better yet, I pray YOU never experience this illness.
