17. this peeves me off - it happened to me that this crazy ex friend of mine called the cops and lied and said she thought i was going to hurt myself or something - i'm sitting at home minding my own business and these cops come to the door and are asking me all this questions - i told them she was lying and they said they still have to come check it out everytime she calls - i had to move out so psycho didn't know where i was and couldn't pull that stunt again - poor Heather probally had the same thing happen - anyone ANYONE can call the cops on anyone else for no real reason at all and in CA the cops are obligated to check it out - even if it happens every single day - i hope whoever called gets their behind kicked into jail

26. i work for a 911 agency and this kind of stuff happens allll the time. in many areas when you call 911 from a cell phone itll go to the highway patrol who transfers it to the local agency based on where the caller says they are: i.e. someone calling 911 on a cell phone can say they are at 123 maple (where locklear just happens to live) and that someone is trying to kill themselves. by law, police, fire, and ambulance are required to respond. when u call 911 on a cell, it doesnt give an actual address as it would if you called from a landline, only the nearest cell phone tower where the signal was bounced from. soooooooo end of story it was a PRANK tmz. i could calll 911 from a cell phone and if i knew your mothers address could say she fell off the john and needed help getting up and they would go and bother her even tho there is no emergency. so please stop reposting this dumb story. whats next, doorbell ditchers????
