Gene is an insecure man with no confidence, so he overcompensates by being a major control freak and sleeping with strangers who could give him a disease to take back to Shannon!
Shannon has no self-esteem or pride, she is a used up, washed up, has-been model, with no other skills than taking her clothes off, appearing in a string of low-budget B movies, and blowing rock stars. Gene is her financial security because she has no money of her own. If she has to put up with his obnoxious, controlling behavior, but is rewarded with millions of dollars, then whatever - it's her problem. She obviously has low standards in herself and in men. No one else even wants her. So their little dysfunctional, but financially well-off, family is all she has and all she'll ever have.

So let me just say I actually know you from the bygone days at Billy Blanks and you were always one of the coolest, non-judgmental chicks I've ever known. Don't know if you'll be in Nashville in April with Gene but I'll look for you just in case.

19. Just because she's not in a conventional relationship doesn't mean she's unhappy. Although Gene might go out and mess around with groupies, Shannon knows she's the queen, living a life of luxury with her two beautiful children. If anyone is stupid it's those groupies that go out and sleep with his old wrinkly ass just so they could say that they've slept with someone famous. MORONS.

24. Gene Simmons doesn't care about anybody but himself. He doesn't care about his kids at all, because he knows they are both old enough to access the internet and see these sex tapes with women other than their mother. The bar is set so low as to what a 'good father' is, even though Gene is always bragging to be one. He isn't. He's a terrible father and a loser live-in boyfriend. He takes care of everyone financially, which gives him room to wiggle. Shannon doesn't have any money, so where would she go? Back to the center of Hollywood to live in a 1-2 bdrm condo? Please. Give me a break. She has $$$$$, cars, 1st Class vacations, and leads a very pampered existence. She's willing to trade true love and commitment for lifetime financially security. Gene is a user and abuser of women. Both he and Shannon are used goods that no one else even wants. BTW, I think Gene's sex tape is hilarious! Even after all his surgery, he won't remove his shirt during sex, and doesn't even know how to do it. ha ha ha ha. Pathetic. No matter how you look at it. I think it would be funny, though, and payback time, if Shannon developed some self-esteem, left Gene (for real), started dating some young Hollywood hunk.
