Justin -- Brit's Just a "Madonna Wannabe"

Justin Timberlake didn't keep his stick in a box on Monday night, when he jabbed at ex-galpal Britney Spears at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony.

"The world has always been full of Madonna wannabes," said JT as he introduced the Material Mom, an inductee, reports Us. "I might have even dated a couple." Day-um. He also zinged, "She has still found time to kiss someone I may or may not have publicly kissed myself while I was in the audience. Of course you know I was talking about Sean Penn."

Jessica Simpson is flogging reports that her trip to Kuwait to visit the troops is a big production.

Her rep tells People that Jess flew commercial and that she is in fact staying in the barracks with the troops. What's more, she denies that her trip is more of a fly-by than an actual visit: "She's been with the troops all day. She's had her meals with them."

As for reports that she had a full-scale beauty battalion with her, the rep says that super-stylist Ken Paves isn't with Jess, and that she has "significantly scaled back her entourage."

First, it is unseemly to publicly discuss a private relationship.

Second, Timberlake is hardly the pinnacle of innovation or talent.

When someone is mentally ill, is being staled by thousands of people a day, loses her kids and then desperately attempts and fails at a music comeback, you do not take jabs at her being a wanna-be.

He claims to care about her, and then he bashes her in front of thousands of people?

I take this comment for what it is - he wanted publicity.

57. I just finished watching Justin's speech, and I thought it was well-spoken, charming and funny. He said a lot of nice things about Madonna's career and threw in a few little jabs that I'm certain were cleared by her first. The reference he made to dating a few Madonna-wannabe's may not have been in the greatest taste, but he cringed when he said it and probably expected this kinda reaction. However, I am SICK of all the Britney coverage....get over it ALL OF YOU! You guys were tearing her up constantly until she was "diagnosed as bipolar" Now, you're all "you go girl" and "oh Poor Britney".....Her diagnosis has not changed my opinion of her...but it is popular news right now, and Justin put his time in with her, so why shouldn't he have the right to comment? He has more right than anyone on TMZ, so lay off.

Yeah, Justin put in his time with her, so you think that gives him the right to berate her on a night that's supposed to be about someone else? PLEASSSSSEEEEEE!

It's one thing that they were once in a relationship, but quite another that Justin has used that relationship to further his own career, and CONTINUES to do so. He is the PATHETIC one! I just feel sorry for Britney.

I would even say Justin has contributed to Britney's crack-up because overall, all he has done is to used her and be CRUEL to her. He would be NOWHERE if it weren't for Britney!
