107. Give the woman a break. Everyone does something. Pot is most likely the least dangerous/harmful thing she could do. God bless those lungs if she can still inhale! New alert!--90% of the people from the 60's & 70's either smoke weed or could care less if others do. Why is this country so freaking uptight? The FDA approves more dangerous drugs that rob people of their money and their health. Marajuana has a multitude of medicinal uses-pain, depression, anxiety, glaucoma, upst stomach, to name a few. Now nicotine...thats a problem!!!!, After the age of 65-everything should be legal anyway. Give people the good stuff-the good old fashioned drugs that worked and treat the drug addicts with controlled methedone like England and other countries and we'd all be in better shape, healthwise, economically, crimewise and socially. God gave us the marajuana plant for a reason.

108. Mary Ann ROCKS! If you were trapped on an island, what a wonderful person to get trapped with! Pot doesn't make you bitter and nasty like alcohol does either! Go to a bar with a bunch of drunk people and it's almost sure that someone will start something! Go hang out in a room with stoners and no one is going to act aggressive and you'll have a really good, fun time!



As a friendly recommendation, I HIGHLY suggest trying out a good vaporizor! Instead of burning the herb and creating products of combustion ( cancer/smoke), it heats it up and you get really, REALLY HIGH from the vapors and there is no smoke! It's not easy or portable, but it works great! Plus you can do fun things with the leftovers, like make butter for brownies and other things! Your lungs will thank you!

113. You indiots who say pot is healthy got your head's up your a$$. Research the long term effects of continuously smoking pot. Besides that, she was pulled over for swerving, and they found the pot incidentally. What if she caused an accident? She was still under the influence of a controlled substance which is catagorically considered a narcotic by law enforcement. She should have her licsence suspended just like any drunk caught drunk driving.

Marijuana (hemp) was initially taxed beyond reality in the 30's to protect the Hearst and Dupont fortunes as technology was created to make hemp fiber and hempseed oil for newsprint, lubricating and other uses in a more cost effective manner. This threatened the fortunes of men alligned with the government so a userous tax was levied making it virtually illegal. And....this was done with these men and lawmakers in attendance behind closed doors! However, it was breifly decriminalized after the fall of Manilla during WWII 'cuz we needed it for rope.fiber,oil,etc,etc. Ironic though that GWB came out against decriminalizing it even though the ship,parachute,oil,and other products were employed in the now famous picture shown pulling his keester outta the drink. Very Ironic,eh? Okay, so we tweaked it a little bit, but the war on drugs was lost before it even started and the usual suspects profit obscenely. Follow the $$$ and you'll see the truth. Mary Ann, you're still a doll, Todd - your mama needs to resume nursing you again, it'll calm ya down and to everyone else- I don't drink or smoke but I do READ! READ! Read!
