Britney Green Lit By TV Cast; Shunned by Alicia

Sources connected to the TV show "How I Met Your Mother" tell TMZ the cast members were told Britney wouldn't be on the show unless they said it was ok. They met with her and they liked her -- they really, really liked her!

We're told the entire group of actors approved Brit. She was, as one of them put it, "laid back and collected."

We're told Brit will play the receptionist for Ted, Josh Radner's character. But that wasn't the original plan. Alicia Silverstone was supposed to go on the show and Britney was then asked to play her receptionist, but Alicia didn't want to be upstaged and refused to play ball. Unclear if Alicia has backed out altogether.

31. alicia is getting a little too big for her britches. She's a very judgmental person. I turned off the View as soon as she snubbed Elizabeth Hasselback and i'm not Elizabeth's biggest fan. I think Alicia handles things like an immature little baby. Get over yourself Alicia.

34. Well, Elizabeth was overtly and aggressively confrontational to Rosie, on the air. THAT was not classy either, nor was it necessary. Elizabeth probably also held opposing political views to Silverstone, and Alicia may be friends with Rosie. It's all water under the bridge, anyway. The whole country was divided thus at that time. Short memories?!?

35. lets see....Britney is to sick to go to custody hearings, the Judge feels she is too sick to handle picking her own friends, handling her money, estate, and affairs without the supervision of her father.....and yet she can make music videos and do an acting job...... No wonder very few people like her anymore. Her own two children are last on her list. If she hasn't grown up by 26 years old, it's probably not going to happen by the time she's 50. HOW MENTALLY ILL IS SHE IF SHE CAN WORK????

37. She's having (supervised) visitation with her kids as we blog, so you are not exactly correct, Mr./Ms. Oh Yeah. No harm in getting her feet wet with a little paying work. It will contribute to her sense of self worth, wouldn't you say?

39. Everyone on the set approved because, like us, they enjoy watching trainwrecks. Slutney has no talent and is only on the show for ratings because producers know people will tune in to see if she screws up which she undoubtedly will. She needs to go bakc to a trailer in Kentwood and wait for a tornado to come.

41. To pfffffft.... yeah, she probably will get a little more self worth. But, wow, you would think that she would try to put the right things in the right order. Against the advice of her court appointed attorney, she did not want to go the last custody hearing. It has always only been out Britney and it will always only be about Britney. I don't think I've ever seen a more selfish person in my life......all she is ever going to have is money and misery.

44. No, no short memories here, but this post is suppose to be about Alicia/Britney not Elizabeth. But maybe Pfft's memory is short as to how rude Rosie was to E. and would continually interupt and condesend to her. Ring a bell?
