"Idol" Wannabeen Says Ciao to Poverty

Josiah Leming was living out of a car when he was on "American Idol" -- but yesterday he was seen on his way to a business meeting at Mr. Chow in Bev Hills!

The kid even plans on getting into the recording studio in the next few months. That's more than many former Top 12ers (Scott Savol, who?) can even claim. No word where or in what he's living.

47. I can't figure it out. This guy was terrible. He obviously cannot work with others, he is just a poser imitating others. Live in a car*check , make weird bodily movements while playing check, be truly original and creative XXXXX.

Go home and be with your poor mother dumbass. She needs you, and you just aren't good enough to be a professional musician.

48. I can see why people who love Josiah's music can spend time posting about him and how wonderful he is, but what I don't get are those who waste their time, criticizing him, what they think his personality may be like, the way he whishes to live his life in order to pursue his dreams. Live your own lives.
What a hurtful, distasteful and disrespectful comment regarding his mother, I can only imagine what kind of person would say anything like that. As a mother myself I can tell you that she must be so proud of her son and would never jeopardize this great opportunity for him...ultimately a mother's goal is for their children to succeed and be happy, she loves him and is content to know that he will be ok on his own.

49. I think someone should really check the facts on Josiah's story. He told the nation on Ellen that his mother has terminal cancer and I don't think this is the case. I also believe that his living in a car story is questionable as well.

51. Ok, this kid needs all the fans he can possibly get...do you think he would pass up that opportunity? I'm sure his intentions are sincere, you don't know what goes between him and his mom, you can only assume...C'mon he replies to all his friends on his myspace he gives us updates on what he is doing and keeps his promises (responding to fans petitions). He's smart and knows his fanbase is what can make him succeed. Right now he is under such scrutiny by the public as he becomes more and more popular, there will be people out there who will try to shoot him down, for whatever reason...sometimes it's just human nature to assume the worst, but making an effort to trust people many times has it's rewards, believe me I've lived long enough to have learned a few things.

52. I think everyone is underestimating Josiah's talent. The only reason he got kicked off is because of the "stand by me" fiasco where he was not able to find a song he was comfortable with, and was not able to work with the band. Bob Dylan or Randy Newman probably would not have cracked the top 24 either. I think Josiah is a future superstar, if you saw his performance on Ellen he got a standing ovation. There is a great article on him here jviz.blogspot.com/2008/03/josiah-leming.html
