226. Nick Bollea needs to be in prison for the next five years of his life for doing what he did to that poor kid. This was a member of someones family, a brother, a son. He was/is loved by many many people and he is in terrible condition. He will NEVER be the same again, his life as everyone knew it is gone. THAT is a fact.

Soooooo much more important than "Hulk" and Lindas love spat....

If they are seperating to save their fortune they are wasting their time. It won't work and just the thought of anyone believing that it would is hysterical.

They should be paying all medical expenses and be required to surrender an enormous monitary penalty.

227. Kids to the same damn thing around here. I was lucky enough to be way over in the far lane. There was lots of traffic also. I think,i have no sympathy for stupitys. If kids want to race,go to Daytona and speak to the man in charge.

228. Obviously this is a very sad situation but I have to say, I used to race with my friends in the car and they raced with me in their car. It is your responsibility to wear a seatbelt number 1 and number 2, I know my parents would not want one of my friends in jail if we were out racing and this happened.

I think the difference here is that my friends would be remorseful of what happened. I am not so sure Nick is remorseful. It seems more like an irritiating blip on his spoiled rotten radar. I am glad he got a few months. I think it's just enough to make him realize he can't play like that anymore but not enough to really mess him up long term. I heard that he was trying to get out on house arrest. If the judge did that it would cause a riot. Everyone wants this kid to burn for this. If they were pulled over the passenger would have been issued a citation for not wearing a seatbelt. It's interesting how the law works.

229. The kid, is a kid. The parents however are far more responsible for his actions then he was. They fully empowered him.
Nick has no remorse. He is a spoiled brat who should be left in there for years. A condition of his release should be NO REALITY SHOW. The civil suit should break the family and bring them down to earth. Linda could loose weight and head back to a strip joint where she belongs.

230. Nick is very immature for his age . Does he really think that after drag racing , driving at high speeds on public roads , and drinking while driving among other people that his accident was jsut a simple accident? Does he feel he has magical powers that prevented him from hitting and killing another innocent person ? Nick needs to learn that there are more people in this world than just him and his family. When anyone gets on the road they are not only responsible for thier own car, but they are also responsible for the people around them. It's called defensive driving ! Nick needs to learn to care about other people on the road, and those who are in his car. Begging to get out of jail after having been ticketed 3x for the same reason he's there now . If he had of stopped breaking the law after the first ticket he would not even be in this mess. House arreset ? Play video games all day long and live with his parents for the rest of his life ? When is Nick going to grow up ? Maybe he has learning disabilites because most teens no matter what social background drive carefully and abide by the laws to prevent having tickets on their record. Being in a car crash has nothing to do with God punishing somone . The car crash happened because he was breaking the law , showing off his car . God had nothing to with it . It was Nick's choice and bad choices come with bad consenquences . Nick not only needs to remain in jail , but needs his butt spanked . There is more to life than being a celeb. How would he feel if someone else was on the road driving at those speeds putting his dad at risk of being in a horrible car crash ? HIs parents need to look beyond being celeb's and be real .. However, I think they have lost touch with the real world and feel they are above the law. Brook seems to have her head on her shoulders most of the time. Nick needs to spend some time with the mothers of MADD . He needs to also learn there are consenquences to the choices we make . The Sheriff has him seperated from the others to prevent Nick from te risk of being hurt . Ie. the same reason we have laws against drunk driving and speed limits . To protect us from the consenquences . It might do Nick some good though to be around the other adults . He really needs to grow up and realize his dad is not always going to be there fixing things for him . Nick needs to get self motivated, and do something with his life . Perhaps go to college or join the military .

231. The professional racing organizations need to let Nick know they are not impressed with his illegal driving .

232. obviously completed disgusted doesnt have any children, have you ever done anything when you were young that you think back on and think why do i do something so stupid...i told my children they were just as guilty as the driver if they get in the car with someone drinking or speeding. i certainly feel bad for his friend and their family but im sure he has been in the car with nick before and was aware of the fact that he drove to fast. rich or poor children dont always make the best decisions. i believe there should be punishment but to lock up a 19 year old for 8 months in solitary confinement is just not right.

233. If I was going to have a negative opinion about anything it would have to be about the appeal. Eight months is small, when considering how fatal his actions could prove. Clearly the court is trying to reform Bollea, so that they can save lives in the future.

234. Its not like he doesn't do this as a hobby. He breaks the law on a regular basis. This time it almost cost someone their life. Its better eight months than being prosecuted for manslaughter.
