Nick Bollea's pre-trial is set for April 14, where he's charged with a third-degree felony for reckless driving causing serious bodily injury. The maximum sentence is five years in state prison. Graziano's condition is still critical.

Nick, Brooke and Linda are all BANNED from seeing John because of a publicity stunt they tried to pull awhile back, but Hulk is allowed to see him still, I really hope that poor guy gets a miracle he dont deserve that, what a friend nick "was" what a Wank i hope he gets all the BAD things comming to him, It's like he got away with ATTEMPTED MURDER, ETC. God Bless John and his family.
As horrific as all of this has been, and in consideration of a high likelyhood of a lifetime of regrettable, parental sweet deals made ;(quite likely including the young mans ' FINALLY 'qualifying' for the''prp' racing license...
One can only hope and to pray that John's family has not, already, signed away any potential,...rights.
Aside from being a Bay Area resident myself; I feel confident in the summary offered by 'J.' as well as those of 'Nurse.'
It's often-imes just a matter of time, until someone will, unfortunately, become an innocent recipient of that which has/was NOT earlier recieved' by the more worthy of the two,
God Bless the Child Who's Got His Own.
Absolutely.

To #66 J in the Bay...thanks for telling it like it is. Obviously "Fight" just does not get it. I am not out there to put Nick Bollea away for the rest of his life...throw the death penalty at him. Frankly I don't understand a man in his 20's hanging around with a teenager either. But that is far from the point. Whether John encouraged Nick to race is not the point...the point all comes down to the facts. Nick Bollea was a major accident waiting to happen. 3 major speeding tickets in less than a year. Parents who knew how he was behind the wheel yet still allowd him to get behind the wheel. I do agree that it is a miracle that neither of the young men survived. And to "Fight" I am very fortunate that I have not lost a loved one to a car wreck, and very thankful for that. But what about the justice for all of those families who have lost loved ones? They do deserve that much don't they? I am quite sure that Nick will do no jail time. Daddy dearest will pay a lawyer whatever it takes to keep him out. I think the thing that does anger me is the very fact that there are 2 sets of laws and justice....one for celebrities and one for us everyday people. I applaud the judge who ruled Paris Hilton was to get her ass back to jail. But in the case of Nick Bollea, he has 3 major speeding tickets....one in a construction site! My husband worked for the highway department for 34 years and just by the grace of God he was never killed by someone like Nick. But plenty of road workers all over the nation have lost their lives due to drivers who don't respect the laws of the road. Sorry "Fight" but it is high time that Nick pays the price. It won't be much and the only way any justice will be obtained is through a lawsuit which won't lessen the agony of the Graziano family. Again to #66 J in the Bay, great post!
He needs to be in jail. Yes, he's young but he was drinking and driving. He may have just killed his best friend (it's a matter of time). all average people go to jail for DUI and accident with injury SO SHOULD NICK. GOD forbid his friend does pass he should go back for vehicular homicide. Money should not buy his way out. It just not right.
Ya went too far once again. Is this sensationalism really necessary? You can only beat a dead horse so long, then you should just walk away and move on to something else. People make mistakes, hopefully learn from them, then finally they want to move on. Law enforcement is dealing with Nick's situation. I would hope if any of you made a mistake or hurt someone, no matter how severe, that people show you more compassion than you do. How can anyone judge this man without knowing his heart. He may have a bravado persona, but deep down, he's a young man with feelings. Do you personally know what Nick is going through every day and night? He has to live with it no matter what he does or where he goes. I don't but I've been in bad situations that haunt you for years and make you sit straight up in bed in a cold sweat until you realize you're just reliving it. Until you walk in someone elses shoes and KNOW their heart, you don't know what's going on with them and how they are feeling, so don't be so judgemental. Don't judge, because one day we will all be judged and I hope for your sake that whoever judges you is more merciful than you.
"21. Said: Let's also not forget that if John Graziano hadn't been comatose, he would have been arrested ... contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and probably some kind of wreckless endangerment of a minor. He was the adult, and therefor responsible in the eys of the law."
Well, he sure paid a dear price didn't he? He should be so lucky to be arrested instead of being brain dead in a hospital. A possible 5 years in jail is NOTHING compared to that.
It is RUMMORED that Hulk was jet sking with his son ,John and some other friends and that the Hulk bought several cases of beer (again rummor) and that the store he bought it at has him on video and then several hours later the accident, if that is the case then I would assume that Hulk would also be charged with purchasing the beer. It is also rummored that that is why they are getting divorced so as not to lose all there assets. TRAGEDY FOR ALL
I'm sick of everyone ranting about how his fame has made him think he is invincible...because that is definitely not the case...the fact that he's a TEENAGER made him think he was invincible...just we did, just like your kids do/will....when you are that young, you cannot fathom a tragedy of this magnitude could ever happen to you (and/or your best friend).
This sort of thing happens everywhere, across all the socioeconomic groups. I grew up in a place where no one was overly wealthy, and a few kids in my high school died in reckless driving accidents. My best friends brother completely totaled 4 vehicles (and most of them looked like these pictures) before graduating high school.
I believe that he should stand trial, but only if the parents of his friend feel the desire to press charges, and that the judge and jury are FAIR. If his friend is in a coma because of his refusal to wear a seatbelt, as the evidence suggests (but doesnt prove), then that needs to be taken into account. That doesn't mean Nick is without blame...I don't know about Florida laws, but in my state the driver can be held liable for someone not wearing a seatbelt in their car (but only if they are a minor).
This is a great opportunity for people who have teenage children to show them the consequences of poor decisions, and hope that they don't face the same fate as Nick, or his friend.

Look thru the pics, there is a photog holding a snapped seatbelt in one of them, not sure if it was a drivers or passengers.
You don't mind if I believe my own eyes over a supposed police report?

It looks to me in the photo that the seat-belt was cut by emergency responders to remove the driver. If you look closely at the other photos they show that the passenger seat belt is still intact and fully back.
Also I find it odd that there is a picture of 1 beer can that could have just been trash near the crash and they have no way of knowing that it was thrown from the car. I'm sure the attorneys will get that evidence thrown out.
isnt it funny how people with alot of money get off so much ****... its like there not human there god or some****. 5 months is nothing he should get over 10 years,he was drunk no licence, speeding, and brain damaged his mate for life.. this world is ****ed man.
Britney Spears might miss a lot more 'X Factor' auditions ... because she can! Simon Cowell gave Brit damn near free reign in order to sign the pop star to that $15 million deal -- but is it backfiring? We'll tell you what peeps on the set are saying.Plus, Chris Jericho's…
