31. No, Nick wasn't injured much ... because he had his seatbelt on.

32. He should pay for what he did just like everyone else has to when they drive while drinking and cause injury to another person.

33. Nick should be beaten like Rodney King every time he reaches for his keys.

34. We had to watch Red Asphalt before getting our learner's permit. It was extremely graphic and showed closeups of officers pulling mangled bodies from crashed vehicles with descriptions of how the accident occured and could have been prevented.

35. Oh no, poor Nick.....NOT!

I hope he enjoys his assblast when he gets to prison.

I live a few miles from that accident and I can tell you that lunatics like "poor Nick" on US 19 need to be stopped.

36. No, John was not the one who bought bear. According to the local news here, Terry had bought the alcohol earlier in the day at a grocery store near his house. I can't see how John could be held accountable for anything other than his own stupidity for not wearing a seat belt when they had all been drinking earlier, as well as his knowledge of NIck's poor driving record.

37. To #19 Fight, no I have not been completely disgusted for years. And I agree with you, I am sure I would never be picked for a jury. I also agree with you about the Bollea kids both seem to hang out with people much older than themselves and I completely agree that John should not have been hanging around with a 16 year old. But yet Brooke's so called best friend is 33! I just don't get it. The thing is "Fight" it is more heartbreaking than disgusting to see young people drive so wrecklessly. Just today while my husband and I were on our way to have our car serviced a young lady was driving all over the road while trying to use her cell phone. An accident waiting to happen. I don't know how old you are Fight but maybe when and if you reach my age you may understand how I feel. Nick Bollea has to live with the fact that his best friend is not ever going to be the same. I would not want to live with that. But it is not punishment enough...just to say he has to live with it and figure he is being punished? No, there are laws to be answered to...laws that affect us all, not just the everyday citizen but everyone...celebrity or not. Fight, I saw a 22 year old woman and her 24 year old husband have to decide whether to pull the plug on their 4 year old daughter.....it didn't make me bitter or disgusted. It broke my heart. John's family has nothing but heartache for the rest of his life..and even after, that will never change. Nick's life goes on. He has a second chance but he still has to pay for this and it isn't a monetary thing. He is a minor and as such the parents are liable for any monetary suit. Believe me, I don't ever wish to serve on a jury. But I do want to see the laws upheld.

38. hey #4...yeah he shoulda been belted but hes an adult and should be able to do that on his own. what cool dude is gonna tell his cool dude friend to 'buckle up? lol not nicks responsibility. however, it is hogans fault he was speeding, racing (and the guy he was racing jsut happened to be driving hulks car) he had 4 speeding citations in the 12 months leading up to this wreck, and he wasnt even 18. he is too young for such drama. hes more of a waste than his parents....yuk!!

39. These pictures are horrific! And every time I think of that clip that I saw of Linda Hogan talking about how much "fun" illegal drag racing is it MAKES ME SICK!!!! I wonder how much "fun" she thinks it is now.

41. If he had 4 speeding citations within the last 12 months before the age of 18, he should have had his license pulled. How was that allowed to slide?

42. You should not have published these pictures. The kid who you describe as being in "critical condition" has a family, and it is so insensitive to their situation for you to publish these pictures. That accident happened months ago, so you don't even have a story, so why even go there?!?

43. Is Nick going to get the car back? It needs a little work. Like getting the blood off the front passenger seat, actually, maybe Nick should just order a new front passenger seat. Now that Nick is living in LA, I wonder how often he visits his "good friend" John. He did practically murder John after all. Too bad it wasn't Nick who became a vegetable.
