Heather Doctor -- Why He Feared Suicide

Sources say Heather Locklear was so upset Saturday, her doctor feared she might do herself in.

TMZ first reported that the doctor called 911 Saturday night, saying "I have a patient and I have a feeling she's suicidal." Sources say the doctor was afraid Heather might OD on depression medication. When paramedics arrived Heather was ok so they left within 10 minutes.

Heather's reps told us it was all a bunch of nothing, but clearly they did not bank on the 911 tape getting released. Yesterday, the Ventura County Fire Department released the tape with the "suicide" comment. We're told Heather's people were furious and contacted County lawyers, claiming the info was protected and threatening legal action.

The real question -- what had Heather so upset to alarm her doc? We did some digging and found nothing was going on between her and ex-hubby Richie Sambora. There have been rumblings there might be some tension between Heather and boyfriend Jack Wagner, but we can't confirm it.

18. Well not that it is any of our business, but maybe Wagner drove her to it. He is such a ho-bag. When he was married to Kristina Malandro, they used to come to her hometown for holidays (which is also where i live). I was out one night with some of my girlfriends and he was hitting on me/us like there was no tomorrow. It was common knwoledge around here that he had a wandering eye. Who knows, though, maybe it had nothing to do with him. Poor Heather. Leave her alone, TMZ!

24. When you are famous, a lack of privacy just seems to go along with the territory (and the big bucks!). I hope Heather's okay. Sometimes it's hard to understand when you see a celebrity such as Heather, who's beautiful, healthy, and rich, and they have "depression" problems. That's bewildering at times, but I guess we all have problems no matter who we are.

25. I find it strange that the Dr. didn't have her address and expected them to go from house to house looking for her. The Dr. is an idiot. If it were my patient I would go to her house myself, if i really thought she was in danger. I hope he isn't looking for his 15 minutes.

26. This is private medical information and protected by HIPAA. Some serious violations going on here and I hope everyone involved in releasing her private medical information gets sued into next week and slapped with every penalty possible. None of this should be out there for media consumption.

27. It is devastating to have your spouse cheat on you. You NEVER get over that even if divorced. There is damaged done to your self esteem that one can't imagine. Unfortunately, Heather is extremely beautiful and gets hooked up with guys that are equally beautiful but cheaters. Jack Wagner had trouble constantly through his marriage to the beautiful General Hospital soap star and I'm sure she was finally done with him and his wandering eye. I think this doctor betrayed her for $ or notoriety. Shame on him. Life is hard enough but to not be able to trust someone who is supposed to help you when things are down, that is criminal. We all fall on hard times and feel despondent about life at times. We just don't have it playing on TV, print, internet.
